SEASON 3 PROPOSAL

I Would like to propose a season 3.
Qualify and 50% Race
Manual Gears Only
No Traction Control
No ABS
Realistic Rules
Fuel On
Tyres On
Damage Full
Safety Car On
Racing Line - Off
Start Date - ??? ??? ???
Race Start - 6pm A.E.S.T.
This Season to make things a little more interesting, maybe we
select the track on the night in the lobby so as we don't have
all week to practice the one track. I can either draw a track
out of a hat, or I can select someone on the night to nominate a
track. Maybe with this season to finish on the 24/7/12 a couple
of months before the new game comes out, we do 2 x 20 or 30%
races each tuesday and then go back to 50% with the new game???
If you have any suggestions to make things more interesting
please post in this topic. ??? ??? ???

You know I'm with you guys to the end - no matter how much I may
bitch and whine and complain ;D. I may get mad at the racing
every once in a while, but our little clan have been racing for
over a year now and it's kind of fun just to catch up and see
how everyone is doing.
Granted we don't meet a few nights a week like we did last
summer (winter for you guys) but I still look forward to just
signing on and shooting the shit with everyone.
I'm in, although it seems as the weeks go on people are starting
to get fed up.

I'll be taking a break from the game when the current season
ends.

Like Livo, I'll be taking a break from the league at the end of
this season. It's pretty tricky for me to get back in time for
the races at the moment. Should be better when we move to
summertime, so I might be back for the 2012 game.
In terms of making it more interesting for you guys that are
going to do another season, I'll repeat my suggestion about
running 2011 spec cars and rotating them each week. I know this
idea has been rejected before, but I'll give it one more try!

I would agree to that Supanash, so that would be to have the
cars as 2011 and not equal, or 2012 and not equal? I would have
to make a rostered system for each week and on the race night
everyone would be allocated the car they are to race in. Maybe
we leave season 3 to when the new game comes out and just fool
around until then. Added to that we would select a track on the
night which would make qualifying much more of a task to get
your car handling and up to speed. 8)
In saying that I am still up for racing Tuesday nights, as Drew
says, random. ;)

Not to sound like a pest but why the break guys? It's only 1
hour a week, essentially, you're giving up to play the game.
It's not like asking you to put aside a whole heap of time. If
we just sign on and do something random it could be interesting
rather than go in sequential order.

I think im with Livo and Nash on this one and I also will be
taking a break from the league. However I will be keen to just
come online and do some casual shorter races at random tracks at
least until the new game comes out. But I do agree Drew, we have
all been racing together for a long time now and you guys are
the ONLY people I race in this game period. Even though Im
struggling to stay motivated in the current season I consider
all of you guys mates in a way and I know If you guys were not
around anymore I would miss racing with all of you.
Maybe I just need a break or off season to recharge the
batteries.

For me it's mainly about the time. It's just a bit early for me
at the moment, so every Tuesday I need to get out of work a bit
earlier than I should. And it's partly some things about online
play that annoy me, that I'm hoping will be better in the 2012
game. In a lot of ways I still prefer the game offline.
I'll probably still be around at weekends so if any of you are
online drop me an invite.
