Can someone tell me what he is doing in this league anyway? ???
::) ::) Haven't thought very highly of him since the start and
he doesn't do much except qualify midpack and then proceed to
spin and crash every race; most races last season, crashing into
me.
Did the same thing last season when we were with assists and I
thought for sure the no aids would have him packing his bags,
but yet he sticks around, can't be much fun for him.

Q: 5th; did no practice as usual, so signed on early to do a
practice race with the boys but I blew up my engine during
qualifying and wanted to keep going so i quit and did some TT
for about 15 min. Upon quali, I was running 1:42/1:43 but when I
came in to tweak one thing on my 3rd stint I found almost 2
seconds. Still think I could've had a solid 1:40 on the options
but to be a tenth off nash for 4th was a decent run for me.
R: 1st W12-I5-O5; got a bit nervous at the start after the awful
start I had last week so really just coasted to T1..beno dove
underneath me but wound up going wide and lo and behold my
conservative start won me a few places shooting down the hill. I
found myself comfortably in 3rd behind Moss and Livo....and by
the end of L1, the three of us had pulled out a decent gap to
Beno in 4th. I kept up well with the 2 leaders and coming around
to finish L2, I saw Livo coming back across the track after an
off to what seemed like making contact with Moss putting him
into a spin, but turns out Moss just was heavy on the throttle.
I got a bit hairy on the exit of T1 on the next lap, so Livo was
decently gapped ahead of me. I was doing pretty well until I got
crossed up down at Stavelot (hate that turn in this game....)
and went into the sand on L4, allowing Supanash to be closed up
right behind me. On L8, Nash took the spot from me while
maneuvering through Les Combes, and from there the two of us
were nose-to-tail for several laps.
Laps 10/11/12 were really tough, as my tires were shot but
wasn't necessarily time for inters even though it had stopped
raining. By the middle of L12 I was destined to get off of these
wet tires because they were just rubbish...so I was the first
car to come in and put on the inters, exiting the pits just
behind Macca. On the run down to Pouhon on L13, I let Macca know
on TEAM RADIO that he really should come in and put on inters as
I came past him and then proceeded to pull away, almost as if
the track was dry. The inters **** really paid off, as I came
around the next lap to see Nash just exiting pit lane. I got
very aggressive with him knowing that his tires were still cold
and I really wanted to nab that 2nd spot back, but instead I
just stuffed up the entire lap, making about 3 mistakes on 3
different parts of the track, opening the gap back up to what it
was before our pit stop cycle :'( . Oh well...at this point I
was satisfied that I was going to have a pretty strong podium
run .... until....................
Castrol crashes, and I was pleading to myself over and over and
over that there would be no SC...but lo and behold it comes out.
Thought that my chances of a podium finish are more or less gone
because now the track would be dry and I would be gobbled up by
Stubbs, Moss, and others in no time. I pitted for options, as I
knew that when we went green there would only be 4 laps left,
which is more than enough to do a stint of option tires.
Green flag waves, and I was very careful as to not autospin it
on the last turn (has happened many times before on several
tracks...) this allowed Nash and Livo to pull a bit of a gap on
me, but I saw way down Kemmel straight them two side by side.
They must have had a bit of contact because as I transited
through Les Combes I was right up on both of their tails again.
Later that lap I had a minispin through T14/15 (Campus) and lost
a bit of time...but over the next couple of laps, I realized
that I was reeling in Supanash heaps. I have been racing with
Supanash for over a year now, and I have never caught him so
fast, so I knew something had gone terribly wrong for him....but
anyway on L20 I closed up on him heaps through Rivage, Pouhon,
and then went side-by-side all the way thru S3 down to the bus
stop chicane where I was gonna late-brake him, but instead he
misses the last right kink, goes off the track and when he
rejoins he taps my LR tire almost sending me into a spin....at
this point I didn't know what to do because I KNOW something
different happened on his screen (probably T-boned him, as I
tend to be a car length or two back on yall's screens), but I
thought I'd just continue and discuss afterwards.
Last 2 laps were pretty mellow, as I kept a same gap to Livo
ahead and Angry behind (who had gotten past Nash as well....) I
got a cheer on from Castrol which also was a morale booster
(thanks man), and I brought the car home behind Livo in 2nd, but
with his 20 second penalty I got promoted to 1st!!!!
So this makes my 2nd F14F win..both now being compulsory wins
instead of 1st car to actually cross the stripe. but even such,
I'm over the moon with this win. My teammate coming 3rd place
has made Sir Frank VERY happy, and I am sure has sent renewed
confidence into the team. Great job to Macca as well, I'm sure
he really enjoyed his performance as well.
DOTD: I will hand it off to Livo, as he led from flag to flag in
ever-changing conditions without even a hiccup...not the easiest
feat to accomplish, but sorry you had to receive that penalty at
the end there. Better than a disconnect though!!

Watching your overtake on me reminds me how bad I was
struggling. First I get pulled off to the right then, as I
rejoin, I get pulled left onto the grass! On my screen you did
T-bone me a bit, but honestly you'd have got past anyway. I
could barely drive in a straight line by that stage.
Congrats on the win drew. I know you needed a couple of things
to happen to get it, but to win a no-assist race, in wet
conditions, against some pretty strong drivers, with a
controller, and a crazy out-of-the-car camera angle is still
some achievement!

Q- 10th
R - 7th
Started at the back, couldn't see a thing, was terrible, tried
to keep it on the track, gained a few positions, up to 6th and
then pitted for inters but was still a bit to wet and i ended up
spinning twice and went to the back, safety car came out so I
pitted for options but recieved wets? pitted again and got
options and tried to catch the lead pack before the safety car
went in but was still out of touch so just finished the race as
best I could.
Driver of the Day - Drew, good win. :)
Don't know how you do it with a controller. Well done. ::)
Did anyone experience bad lag this race ???

Q=6th R=3rd
Quali was pretty good for me as I was only three tenths off my
personal best. Probably could have gone a few tenths faster if I
went for another lap but I wanted to save my tires. I saw there
was a 48% chance of rain for the race and thought that wasnt a
high enough chance to take that extra life out of my options. I
still wouldnt have been able to be faster than my teammate
anyway. Well done to Moss.... you are in another league as far
as pace goes mate.
Race was good had plenty of pace in the initial few laps and was
being held up by the cars in front of me. I had to be really
carefull to not run into the back of the cars in front as they
were braking quite early. Passed Beno during the first stint and
was up into fourth behind my teammate as we were running the
wets allot longer than some other drivers. I probably should
have pitted for inters sooner as I lost a bit of time to Drew.
Anyway after Castrols departure the safety car was deployed. I
thought to myself, stink now Im going to have all the fast boys
up my gearbox on a dry track now. I was pretty comfortable up
until this point as I had a 38 second gap back to angryman. I
stopped during the safety car for dries and like a complete
idiot chose primes ::) So I had Drew in front and Angry
behind at the restart both on options. Angry easily picked me
off and drove off.... I was kicking myself bad for those last
few laps. Was probably the Williams teams best shot at a 1-2 ;D
Hindsight is a great thing but I wasnt convinced the options
could hold up to the end as Spa is such a long lap.
Well done to Drew I take my hat off to you mate.... a win is a
win 8)
I dedicate my podium to Gaz and Castrol ;D Thanks for the
setup tips fellas.

Yep I have updated the Fastest Lap and added a point to your
tally. I think you did about 1.41.710 8)
during the s/c gazza was on the side of the road lagging then i
got thru? bizarre sorry dude.
Hey Stubbs I was trying to catch the pack behind the SC and in
doing so I went a bit to wide and the game white screened me and
put me back on the track and I lost time, so I wasn't lagging
just screwed up, ha ha :P

1:39.9 is "FAR" off your best time?? Please... ::) ::)
Dude, I don't know how you don't lock up...like, ever. You brake
so freaking late for every turn that it's actually almost
uncanny...I hit the brakes too hard/downshift too quickly and
I'm skidding out wide on the entry to any of these turns.
