       R sorry about your dsq macca....bit harsh that. Quiet race
       realy, not a track i like tho, was swapping places with ben via
       the pitstops, and finally got disconnected on lap 22...bah!!!!

       hi! Sorry about been posting late. Quali 1st: went 4 first try
       and my car was just undriveble. change my wings and
       suspenssion..
       Did not start very well, stubbs get his way on first corner
       and livolay just a bit after! But my plane was get some poits so
       just kepd doing my race, pited early got paul just in front of
       me, we figth 4 acople of laps and i pass. pit again put primes,
       livo span at some atage so finish 2nd Thanks.

       That was a tough race for me. I've been struggling with my wheel
       for a while now, and it affected me quite badly in Shanghai. The
       downshift is becoming unreliable, and it's worst in the high
       braking areas where you have to go down through the gears quite
       quickly. Unfortunately there's 4 of those in Shanghai! It meant
       that I had to be extra careful to make sure I was in 1st gear
       when I wanted to be. Had to break early, sometimes hit the
       downshift once more when it didn't work. And even then I
       couldn't get it right every time, so I'd be in 2nd instead of
       first, run wide and get a slow exit. I was costing me some time
       pretty much every lap. Late in the race, I over compensated and
       ended up in neutral, which caused a spin.
       So 5th was ok, given all the problems, but it's really
       frustrating because I'm sure I would have had the pace to be
       pushing for the win. At the end of the race I was so exhausted
       with fighting the wheel that I had to just log out and lie down
       :-[
       Not sure what to do about the wheel. I'm already on my 2nd G27.
       The first was replaced because of a different fault. I've had a
       google and it looks like other people have a similar problem
       with the downshift.
       I might still do the next 2 races. There's really only one heavy
       breaking zone at Istanbul and Catalunya, so it might not be too
       bad. Monaco will be a nightmare though. Missing a gear will mean
       a trip into the barrier. So I'm thinking that I will either send
       the wheel away after the Catalunya race, or just call it a day
       with F1 2011 at that point, and maybe get a different wheel when
       the new game is out.

       I did think about it - for about 1 second!!  But it's a slippery
       slope. Pretty soon I'd be using some crazy out of the car camera
       angle too  ;D
       I haven't used a controller at all on the 2011 game, so I don't
       think I want to go back to it. Also, I've just realised that
       I've had the current wheel for a bit over 12 months, so I won't
       be able to get a replacement. So now, I'm really not sure what
       to do.

       Hi! supanash i had the same problem at kuala lumpur and i do
       know how to fix the problem.
       U have to open  the pedals and just clean inside, if it still
       not good u can swap the cilinder of the pedals that will fix! It
       is very simple sistem inside. Thanks

       Thanks Striker! I'll give it a try. The warranty is expired now,
       so I may as well open it up and take a look. If I have to get a
       new wheel, I did notice that logitechshop.com.au is now selling
       G27s for $245. they've swapped the 4 and 2 around since I bought
       mine!

       hey nash on the down shift thing i noticed it at abu before the
       shicanes,
       and i found that it if you slap it down really qwik you have to
       be at the right rev for it to go in, i noticed i wasnt getting
       into 1st/2nd and it was annoying me then reading your post i
       thought i hope my wheel hasnt shat itself aswell, so i tested it
       out and to get into 1st u have to be goin slower for it to slip
       in properly. i did a big downshift really fast and hit it 6
       times no more and was still in 3rd lol. i found after taking a
       milli second longer to go into 2nd and 1st i would never miss
       the gear again. anyway good luck mate.
