Well its fially happened.... my first no points race!!!!!!
:-[ Stupid game disqualified me for turning round at the
hairpin after tangling with Castrol. We went side by side
through there a lap or two earlier but not this time. Totally my
fault as I locked up under super late braking on the inside. I
hope I didnt distroy your racel. If I did I apologise matey.
Was really enjoying my battle with Castrol and as we were on the
same strategy I think it may have been an intense battle all
race too. Oh well never mind just have to look forward to the
next race I guess and get over it.

put 9 laps worth of fuel in and went out and tested the grip and
it was non existent, set mark time on lap 1 of a 1.40.365 and it
stayed on top for a long time till livo went into the 39's. id
done a few laps and felt confident enough to bump it up to mix 3
and then set 2 flying laps to regain pole with a 1.39 flat only
to be pipped by my team mate at the death. what a bullshit lap
striker well done mate
Race - 1st
got a good enough start to pull side by side striker into t1 and
i shoot off. livo then gets up to second during lap one so not
an ideal start for Striker. i show good pace early and get a
good little buffer on livo then nearly lose it on the sweeper
before the back straight on lap2, he catches right up. DOH!
i then control the race from the lead up to my pit stop on lap
10 livo and striker pit lap 7, we were all on option tyres,
when i come out i slot right inbetween livo and striker all on
primes but mine newest, so id lost bout 5 secs from running the
tyres longer, for this whole stint we go 3 tandem not loosing
time to each other, i did 5/6 laps in mix 1. then livos tyres
must have went to shit on lap 17 cause i caught him real qwik, i
knew the tyres went of cause striker dropped back 5 secs and
moss was on his rear wing, so they both pitted and then i set
some solid laps and pit on lap lap 21 for options
i slot out in front of livo just!!!! lol i fought hard on cold
tyres running mix 3 but i couldnt shake him, he had prime tyres
nice and warm in their prime haha. so we had some good tight
pit battles lol
T3 lap 23 he must have been pushing to hard and he spun, by then
i was optimal fuel :o :o
we would have had a good last 4 laps if u didnt spin, if you had
fuel i would have had to yeild cause once u spun i ran mix one
and fuel light come on 2 laps from the end,
anyway good race dominated by the mercs, and im happy i run
option/prime/option i think thats was the key to the victory!

Qualifying report:
Rain was one thing i forgot about, so I had no setup ready for
rain and due to lack of practice at this circuit I wasn't able
to pull a good lap so I just retired.
Race report:
Very bad launch off the line and I was side by side with Nash on
turn one, he had the outside line so he had an advantage on turn
3 so I just let it go for him.
Lap 2 I just turned down my revs and drove as hard as I can but
due to lack of speed and prime tires me and Nash were unable to
catch up to the front runners, and for some reason with heavy
fuel my car was being clumsy lap 4 Nash started to pull away so
I decided to drive carefully and save my tires.
Lap 10 Nash pitted for another set of primes 5 seconds and I
stayed out. Lap 11 I made a huge mistake locking up going into
the pits, so I went into the sand and hit the wall my right tire
was punctured, the game automatically restored my car and I lost
a big time with all of that. So when I pitted I lost a couple of
seconds for repaires.
I left the pits 11 seconds behind Nash, and almost 20 seconds to
first place so I turned up my revs and drove the F* out of the
car I was gaining almost a second to Nash and the front runners,
a few laps later I noticed Nash made a huge mistake spinning I
think on turn 10, so I got much closer to him and overtook him
on lap 21.
Lap 22 me and nash pitted for a set of options, and for some
reason in the pits the engineers changed my front wing, even tho
the car felt normal before I pitted but thanx to my luck I still
came out ahead of Nash. So I turned down my revs to save fuel
for 2 laps but when I noticed that it wasn't working for me I
just turned my revs back up and started hitting hot Laps. Caught
up to livo and overtook him on lap 27 then finished in third
just ahead of livo out of fuel almost lost my position lol.
Great race guys, not much luck for me but ready for the next
races. And congrats to stricker for an astonishing performance.

Q: 3rd. Content with my lap as I really struggled in the wet.
What a lap by Striker! :o ???
R: 4th. Got a decent start & managed my way through the 1st
turns cleanly. Passed Striker on the short straight in sector 2
& then maintained similar pace to Cam.
Lap 7; I considered staying out but I figured I would
go for the undercut in the pits & this strategy ultimately cost
me.
Pretty annoyed with myself as I normally pick the
correct tyre strategy but played it too safe as I don't feel
comfortable on worn tyres with no assists.
My second stop I stuffed my pit entry losing 3 sec
aprox & then lost another 3 sec on my out lap as I couldn't
manage the cold tyres.
When Cam came out on options I tried hard to stay
with him as I figured if I was within sight after he put some
wear on his options then I would take him towards the end.
Unfortunately as I was changing my fuel I lost
concentration & spun. Striker took 2nd & Moss was about 5 sec
behind & after being caught, got me comfortably with DRS.
Last lap & I was all over Moss's gearbox but just as
I was about to pass him before the line...out of fuel & we both
crawled past the checkered flag, the time diff being 0.3.
Well done to all 3 podium finishers. Enjoy the
champagne, great racing! :)

yer thanks moss, im really enjoying this league as their is 5/6
really fast guys and its goin to make some awesome fights and
awesome wins! anyone can win and we are yet to ssee williams
pace as im sure they will get up there as i know drew is good
enough and macca is the S1 champ. so the comp is super close i
really like it!
