Livo thanks for the compliment. A lot of people I know seem to
be astounded that's the view that I drive in but it's not really
that spectacular, it's just the view that I'm most used to with
every racing game. Have you forgotten that I also drive a manual
transmission? lol
Supanash just watch my video at the 40 second mark is our
contact.

First of all I want to congratulate livolay for an astonishing
win, had the pace in both dry and wet.
For me it was all screwed in qualifying and the race both
qualifying sessions were bad for me, in my first qualifying
session with primes I would get 6 tenths faster in the second
sector but then get behind a massive traffic.
On my second session same thing, so I took advantage when
everyone left and I was flying, 100% sure I could get pole with
that lap but then on turn 9 I was blocked by Paul driving very
very slowly, and I slammed into his back.
In the race, someone started the race very quickly, 30 seconds
was not enough for me to change my setup, especially my brakes
they were set to oversteer and it was killing me in every single
corner, and when I noticed it was getting bad I just retired
from the race.

Q1 - 4th Q2-7th
R - 3rd
First qualy was better for me as I secured 4th and my teammate
and I locked out the second row which I thought was going to be
sweet. After the rolling start disaster the second qualy didnt
go so well and I ended up down in seventh. I wish with this game
it was impossible to change setups after qualifying as I think
it is stupid that you can set the car up differently from how
you run in qualifying!!!
Anyway rant over, I thought start was brilliant given the
conditions/visibility etc well done to all of the drivers. I
started mid pack and was surrounded by cars in every direction
through turn one and two with not a single touch. Bloody good
stuff guys. Race was pretty good for me as I only made one
mistake that cost me a chunk of time. Of course the other huge
chunks of time was from lapping paul 4088 times ::) I had no
idea it was due to lag as his car looked perfectly smooth to me
just really slow both in qualy and the race. I tried talking to
him but with this games chat settings he probably didnt hear me
anyway. I also had Kiwis car lagging also. Problems aside I
spent most of the race battling with Nash in the first stages
trying to catch him and in the closing stages trying to manage
the gap back to him.
First podium in the Williams so Im pretty stoked. Well done to
my teammate also as a double points finish in those conditions
is all good. Shame you are not going to be on the grid next race
dude as it is probably my worst track of the season and you
probably would have to fly the Williams flag for us around
there.
Looking forward to it anyway.... see you all then.

I not 100% sure it was lag myself. But I assumed it had to be,
unless he was deliberately slowing down on the racing line?

Q- 10th..
I stupidly went out on primes, even tho i had checked the
weather forecast...doh, didnt want to waste time out there, as i
knew ppl wanted to be away to do work etc etc, anyways did 1
flying lap and retitired from session.
R- 6th
Had a slow start especially at the first corner, felt nervous,
as i didnt want to smash into the back of someone and ruin their
race, I then let my team mate past, as he was going faster, only
to see him spin a couple of laps later, I then pitted on laps 9
and 18 ish... why, i dont know as i know wets can last longer.
Okies...then settled down into a couple of ballet like spins,
and a few crashes with Paul57, and finished 10th, glad to finish
this race, as before i kept getting disconnected.

i can see it as possible that he might not have felt it, plus
all the cars would have been twitchy thru there at that time, i
know my traction was woeful thru sector 1 lap 1. was skipping
around everywhere.

Hi drew. I never said it didn't happen (it obviously did). I
just didn't see or feel any obvious bump at that stage of the
turn. I did feel something a little later when I was
straightened up between turn 1 and 2 and my car fishtailed a
bit, but couldn't tell if it was caused by contact or me just
spinning up the wheels. It was a difficult turn for me as I was
being overtaken by both cam and livo who had got off the line
better, so had very little room to play with. Are you after an
apology? If so, you got it. Sorry it cost you so many places. I
think in the dry, that amount of contact wouldn't have affected
you as much. But then, in the dry, it probably wouldn't have
happened in the first place!

No not fishing for apology ... just wondering if you actually
saw the video or if you were still going off you saying there
was no contact......no biggie
