What do you guys think about the news of the day; collaboration
       between H&M and Isabel Marant?
Everybody seems so happy about the collaboration or am I the
only one who dislikes this big times?
       Here the video:

ahaha true the sneakers were quite disappointing but the
"coolness status" was so high and I donīt understand that H&m
might be the top of it all?!
I mean all brands who did a collaboration were hyped for short
time and after two years it was more negative than positive that
       they did it..
I liked it in the beginnign when karl lagerfeld was
revolutionary with his colla, but now I am like really ? again?

its such a money machine. can i take this serious?
looking at isabel marant, she does quite good quality and her
designs are some sort of ibiza boho chic...thats why I would
consider buying one of her pieces. so why would I buy then a H&M
cardigan that looks like her in the first place but is without
       any detailing or good quality..

As I already said in another post about Margiela & G-shock I
also explained that Margiela did a collaboration with H&M being
a invisible brand. I think it is such a shame that brands do
this. Especially when you are a loyal customer towards the
high-end brands and you spend much money on it and then they
make a re-make and produce 1000 of pieces of them. For example I
buy often Margiela and when I got to hear that they were doing a
collaboration I was really not happy about that. For me it
always sounds so bullshit to say let's give everyone the
opportunity to own something from a designer. But people come on
you also don't really think that you own something then from a
       designer right??

when buying a piece...vintage or designer, then I want to
express my deepest feelings and individuality so then such H&M
piece is too superficial and shallow for me...

Ok, so I think it's kinda the perfect match to be honest. Isabel
Marant is fast fashion with a high price card, that exploits
trends. H&M does the same for less doekoe. Isabel Marant will
probably make some ridiculous trendy clothes that u can wear 1
season and than never wear again anyways! The only difference
with her normal collection is that those pieces are from a
(slightly) superior quality. Just my 2 cents...

But seriously who of the real isabel Marant customers and fans
would like to realize that a so called quality brand decides to
change its concept for less or no quality products for a super
cheap price for a mass group of people?
