What's up with the new Dutch collection from Avelon.
Seriously but also this brand got so commercial too bad, they
had nice stuff back in THA dayszzz

sorry but I thought Avelon was kinda "dark minded" or at least
minimalistic?
they lost a bit the design focus...

They used to "belong" from Blue Blood.
And I think they showed in 2010 or something a very cool show
really not minimalistic a bit like galaxy print.
Then Avelon became his own company since a few years and started
like darkish leather etc, was ok for a Dutch company. But now
they just wanna do everything apperently what attracts a whole
crowd.
And also way too overpriced i think for what you get.
I don't might too pay good money for something but first of all
the fabric and the fit needs to be amazing. Can also not say
that I see that back in their collection, so for me they lost it
indeed.

I remember when I was a big fan of the leather pieces on the
denim. It was new and I liked the feeling of it but then I saw
them doing it over and over again. I understand re-designing
bestsellers or classic pieces but the denim & leather combo was
everything behalf a classic item in my opinion...
Sometimes brands re-produce items and you just are disappointed
that they still do the same designs...

Totally agree.. just bought some stuff during their sample sale,
it's ok for a sample sale price but would never ever pay the
commercial price for it ! Too bad the brand went that way, in my
opinion it had a lot of potential to become very big in the
designer market x

yes I think one of the reasons is that also the location
AMSTERDAM, such brand would need to get the haptic feeling of
Paris or London and transfer into the collections better.. I
miss any new energy

Avelon is for "Dutch" fashion really good. They are very
international so for a Dutch brand they have really potential to
grow.
But I always think what their focus is? Every new collection
they show something else, like such a different vision not very
consistent.
