GOOGLE Glasses something for you?

Not sure if you already heart about the new GOOGLE glasses?!
Apparently you can do everything like making pictures or calling
but without pressing any buttons. Bit scary but def a
development to watch, since DVF used it in her last collection
presentation (SS13)...
Attached some picture from the DVF show. The appearance is not
really well done yet but its the first prototype..

I saw the movie, really unbelievable how technology keeps on
going...
How DVF showed these backstage moments, I mean the pre-show
fittings etc, that's is actually not something new that someones
shows backstage but the way and with what they do it is just a
step too far or something. I think for the fashion industry it
is always interesting being part of the technology, always
interesting to see these world come together but how far is this
going, also with the whole 3d printing?

yeah this technology & fashion fusion is really something to
stay up-to-date with...every day so many new developments ;D
but 3d printing is sick, enables people to ‘print’ objects from
digital files.... quote BOF "As 3D printing systems become
better and cheaper, the designer eyewear market may soon start
to feel the effects, with potentially wide-ranging implications,
from product development to counterfeiting." really interesting
aspect by 3d printing and never knew that 3d would effect the
glasses industry...

yeah I saw the live stream of DVF with the google glasses...I
wonder how she came to this idea because she actually never does
innovative applications like the glasses, I mean her collections
still look like 15 years ago...wrapping dresses allover
