Does anyone in the club use it? Brad and I do and have on
occasion flown together online. If you have it, post here and
       lets get something going!

I have the install disk so all you need is to buy a key. Check
with Microsoft and see if you can get one cheap. All you should
need is home basic or whatever it's called..... entry level
OR keep an eye on ebay.... here's one auction

And here's a buy it now for $89 (not so cheap) but not too bad

I'm now watching that second option, maybe it'll go through
       fairly cheap, we'll see.

Nope, best I've seen is craigs list:
  HTML http://rochester.craigslist.org/sys/3493147293.html
What do you think of that?
My son-in-law may have something, but it is packed away. They
are finally closing on a house today, so we go up to SYR to help
the move on Saturday. We'll see if we get the unpacking done
enough to find his possible source.
Otherwise, I'd guess going to a person in Roc and paying $50
maybe the safest way to go. What kind of questions do I need to
       ask?
Any news on your front? Get any info out of the Dr.s yet? We're
       all hoping for the best!

Personally, I am very leery of bootlegged software. Its far too
easy to copy a disk and make it look like the real deal. I guess
just check it over real good and try to determine if it is
really an oem disk(s). Why is he selling it? That may shed some
light. Is the key the one that came with it? Is it in original
packaging? Sometimes pc dealers will buy multiple keys and just
use the same disk for install. If that's the case, it might just
be excess stock of keys he is trying to get some money back out
of. That should be ok. Hopefully your son's solution will pan
       out!

Yeah, I've had a few emails with this guy, and they strike me as
a bit sketchy. I don't know quite enough about this whole thing,
and I don't quite trust this whole thing. Guess I probably will
not go any farther with him. There's no reason to think he's a
dealer or anything like that. He's awfully anxious to do a sale
and not too interested in answering questions. Talked with Alex
last night, and will see what he might turn up.

I don't know exactly, but I'd think so. When you get the
Phoenix, you get a basic dongle. For me, I had to pick up an
attachment to plug into the square Futaba trainer port. Check
the Phoenix specs for what you need for a Spektrum, it might
even be included, as Horizon sells these.
