Crashing

So, you never intend to end any flight with a crash, especially
a maiden, but the reality is that it does happen. There are
however, some steps that you can take to crash well in order to
minimize damage to your aircraft.
Often, we the pilot are the cause of the loss of control.....so
try letting go of the sticks.
Try to level your wings for a flat impact.
Minimize damage to your motor by closing the throttle, thus
limiting speed and rotational forces.
If you can choose where to impact the ground.....choose the area
that will create the least damage....aviod trees and asphalt.
Get your nose as level as possible before impact.
Avoid persons, cars, buildings, fences, or any other objects
that will compromise your aircraft, this hobby, your flying
buddy, or innocent bystanders.
ALWAYS !!!! Be prepared to sacrifice your aircraft in order to
prevent injury to persons or damage to property.

If you don't fly, you won't crash. But, where is the fun in
that.
