Winter Sunsets

This was beautiful at Port Beach Fremantle… it was cold though…
it will be about 32 Fahrenheit in Perth tonight… brrr,
brrr,….brrrrrr
It was one of favourite scenes so far and I thank the passerby
for adding a human effect and he’ll never know he was being
taken strolling past my view… thank you kind stranger.

I have so many beautiful sunset scenes in different styles and
tones and hues. This was very dark. The middle of our winter
where the clouds are heavy with rain and GREATLY appreciated.
Perth is in drought and has been for awhile so the sight of
black clouds LIFTS our spirits rather than dampens them.

Me and my Silly Wishes
I was getting bored with photographing the sunset with the same
old Palm tree in the foreground and sometime used to think, “I
wish that bloody tree was not in the way all the time“… I
shouldn’t have thought it either because tree loppers came along
and WORSENED the view…. I’ll have to wait now until new fronds
grow.… the old adage, be careful what you wish for, applies
here… silly me.

I took the wires out of this and tried to make it an island... I
wished I was in it with a boyfriend and leave the husband home.

I love getting out to the beach at sunset...
to bad I cannot do it more than twice a week... maybe three
times if I am very very lucky.

This was pretty sensational today. The clouds set off the globe
shape of the sun… It was hard to choose between the varying
colours so I post both. I just know how insanely jealous people
are who never see a sun set on the ocean.

cheapie camera) and she took this sunset, (2nd picture)…
