Trayvon Martin case is now beyond reasonable

I don't know what your perception of all of it is down under, or
how much your media is reporting on it, but I for one am alarmed
by the misinformation and irrational leaps to judgment on it.
At first, I got sucked into it, even signing the petition
calling for George Zimmerman's arrest. Then, as it became clear
to me that I was manipulated by false media reports and
distortions, I wrote to the special prosecutor's office and
asked that my name be removed from the petition. I feel for
those parents, who lost their son, I really do, but I also feel
badly for George Zimmerman, who according to reports from his
friends and his brother and father, feels horribly and is sick,
literally sick over it all. Last night I saw a hollywoood
actor spewing lies on tv, lies that have disproved weeks ago,
like George Zimmerman was much bigger than Trayvon. At first,
the media put up pictures of Trayvon from an earlier age, making
him appear more childlike and smaller. They interviewed his
football coach who bragged on him. Turns out he was over six
feet tall and had given up football before he entered high
school. The fact that he has been suspended from school 3 times
and was at his dad's in Sanford because of his most recent 10
day suspension is relevant, though those calling for the
lynching of George Zimmerman want to say it isn't. I believe
that his parents are in denial as many parents can be when their
wonderful child begins following a self-destructive path.
Again, I feel bad for them for their loss, but I am alarmed by
the lack of responsibility the media has shown in trying George
Zimmerman before he is even arrested or charged.

The parents are ANGRY. They want someone’s head on a platter
over the death of their child. No reason on their part in this,
they are grieving and ANGER is a step in the grieving process.
They can be forgiven.
The media are simply EVIL money grubbers making a meal out of
other people’s misery. They’ll milk it for all it’s worth.

Absolutely, money-grubbing-arseholes!
I have taken to listening to music. It also irks me at how
sheep like our citizenry are!
I do feel for those parents. And no, I can't blame them for
feeling that way, but, we have a real problem over here with
violence and crime in the cities and Jesse Jackson lives in or
near some of the worst of it in Chicago. It is also where Obama
hails from. I don't see marches and rallies over the black on
black violence. They should be outraged at that. And the
rappers who encourage it and then exploit those young people by
taking their money for their violent lyrics!
GRRR!

The warrior in men is what their heart craves really.
It's us watching it all unfold who suffer... because we feel
helpless to stop it.
