Lowell nodded and followed him outside and onto the roof.
Following his gazes, he notice the group of rahkis focusing on
the particular street. "Look like they in troubles. We will have
to be careful not to get overwhelm... Let just hope they still
alive." He look elsewhere and muttered the magic chants,
conjuring few stone spires onto a different street farther from
the focus street ahead of them, hoping to attract them away from
the street and themselves by using the stones' impact sounds.

Her mind racing as she saw the young man draw ever closer to
unconsciousness, she weighed her options quickly. Her eyes
darted for a brief moment back to him from the doorways as he
spoke, her fingers twitchign on her bow. [i]"It may not have
been my fight, but I don't want to just leave you to die." As
he shifted off of her got herself ready. She would likely only
have one chance at this. Her eyes narrowing on the nearest
opening, she felt energy coursing through her and her bow. She
nodded as he spoke again. [i]"I'm ready."

the sound did nothing. adel shook his head "they don't react to
sound....they have thermal.........sight!!....THATS IT!!" adel
jumped in the air and smiled "Lowell i need you to trust me"
before lowell could answer Adel whispered something and his body
glowed a soft blue. quickly he jumped into lowell transporting
himself into lowells body. memories flashed in between the twos
minds. once done Adel was in control of lowells body but lowell
could freely speak through there mind "sorry lowell, only way to
help this.....especially since i know now that you don't know
any fire magic" Adel thought to lowell and flexed his fingers.
he ran and jumped from roof to roof until he was close enough
to the group of Rahki, he hid behind a chimney column. sticking
his head out Adel looked around the chimney "there's somebody on
the ground......no wait theres two people, a girl and
boy.....somehow he's camouflaged. " Adel ducked back behind the
chimney and brought his hands close together as if holding an
invisible ball "Lowell i need you to think about your desire to
help this city, your desire to take back your kingdom......"
Adel focused on his own task. Lowells hands began to glow a
bright orange and red.
Jayce didn't respond, while she was talking he passed out with
his eyes open , still holding himself up.

Lowell was about to speak till Adel jumped into his body,
surprised by the memories flashing. He quickly took notices that
he wasn't in control but try to calm himself and listens to
Adel's words, already knowing he known no fire magics. As they
look at the two people, he wasn't sure who it was due to the
camouflaged and nodded mentally, even thought someone else was
controlling his body, he believed Adel. 'Alright then, be
careful.' He mentally said after noticing the glows on his hands
and then begins thinking on his own desires, helping this city,
its' peoples, the survivors, and taking back his kingdom... His
desires not only as the King of Ving... but as himself too. He
focus solely on his desires till he was told otherwise.

As soon as he appeared to have passed out, Katrina began her
sprint. Grabbing Jayce as she could, she agilely moved the two
to the nearest doorway. Knowing there would be a following, she
quickly turned and murmured [i]"Court of miracles." An the
archway became bathed in an aura. Knowing it wasn't at its
strongest, as the heiress still held the bow in her hand, she
still knew that her manipulation of the area around her to
hinder the attacker would give her the extra time to fire the
arrows she needed.

The Rahki flew high into the air. the chirps got louder and
louder. more came from the mountain until the group was half the
size of the city.
Adel noticed the group and sighed ".......shit" he sad out loud
" hey lowell....if this doesn't work......happy to ahve been
your friend. even if it was for just a day" Adel laughed and
jumped down into the middle of the streets " OVER HERE YOU
STUPID BIRDS!!" he screamed, the Rahki chittered and chirped
angrily. the swarm dived down at them like a falling star. Adel
looked down at lowells hands and sighed again " here we go" the
Rahki crashed down around him making a spout, they were so many
they blotted out the very surroundings. Adel continued to
concentrate. a bird flew past cutting Lowells cheek, Adel winced
but did not stop concentrating. the spout grew smaller and
smaller and birds kept flying by cutting him. Adel looked at his
hands and a flame erupted in the middle of them. the flame was
unlike any other. it seemed brighter " SOUL FLAME
TECHNIQUE........GLORY OF THE PROTECTOR!!" Adek shouted. the
flame erupted into the shape of a growing dome. it burned the
Rahki close to them and grew until it covered the whole city.
Katrina and Jayce was bathed in the flames but they did not
burn. it was like her spirit was being uplifted herself. like
someone had just given a great speech. after minutes the flame
dome died away and lowell stands there next to Adel who's
smiling with his arms crossed ".....never in a day did i think
that strong.......the drive of a king" he patted Lowell on the
back.

Lowell smiles slightly and look at the multiple cuts on his body
that was inflicted by the Rahki, but quickly his focus was on
their surrounding. "Now to get the survivors back into that
place safely before more come." He wonders if the two try to
escape into the house so he went into the nearest doorway to
check.

As the flames surrounded the two, even behind her spell, Katrina
instinctively went into a protective motion. However as the
flames did not burn she looked up in confusion. There were no
birds in the doorway, she knew whatever had done that was
nothing to scoff at. Still her spell remained in place, the
very threshold of the doorway barely shimmering as the only sign
something was there, something that would only be seen if you
knew what you were looking for.

Adel laughed "Who ever is out there....you can come out, we've
killed the birds" he screamed outloud.

Lowell ran his hand through his hair. "It safe now, but you
better hurry so we can take you to a safe place before more
come." He yelled out loud too, not letting his guards down at
all as he walks through the doorway, not noticing the partciular
shimmerings.
