Katrina's eyes snapped to the silent boy, a light internal sigh
danced through her mind, though her expression belayed nothing
of that. Deciding it was below her to force the boy to interact
she turned her full attention to Luxia. Tapping her cheek
lightly in thought she nodded at Luxia's words.
[color=darkred][i]"You are right, it appears to be a far too
coordinated effort to be merely random acts of coincidence. I
certainly don't intend to leave Arundel without the bloodline
upon the throne, so yes, I intend to take it back."

"The former King of Ving was very strong, yet even he was
somehow defeated by the demons. They would have to be very
strong to beat my father..." Lowell said softly, giving a small
nods to Luxia. "Another thing that seem odds is that they
invaded the castles, not the kingdoms itself. Almost as if they
were aiming for something specifically." He explains.

She frowned at that "I didn't think of that." she mumbled and
ran a hand through her bangs. "I can't think of anything they
would've wanted within my castle. Not money or they would have
gone for jewels and money or myself for ransom...I can't imagine
they'd go for the jade of the Moon or they would have kept my
mother alive or at least gone for it and myself since an heir
has to wield it...Soren did get me out of there before any harm
could come to myself or the staff so whatever true plan they may
have had is lost to me." she looked to the others. "What about
you guys, any ideas what true goal they might have..."

Katrina gave a sideways look at Lowell's comment. Tucking a
lock of hair behind her ear she closed her eyes. [i]"I would
not sully any of our parents memories by thinking them anything
less than strong. Even though they were lost, it was not an
exploited weakness, even the strong and wise are capable of
falling." She spoke quietly as her eyes fluttered open at the
end of her comment. Turning her gaze back to Luxia, she looked
thoughtfully. [color=darkred][i]"Whatever they were after, it
had to be a more complex goal then greed alone. Power may
always be a motivator, but im sure its far less clear than black
and white. The day was such a blur, there could have been
things around that could have given clues, but they have evaded
my memory."

Lowell stay quiet after Katrina's spokes, but nods softly in
respond as he thinks this over. 'What is their true goals... we
won't know it by standing around...'

Lance watched the three from a distance. His body hide behind a
tree, his hands griped Jins hilt. His eyes would focus on the
mouth of whoever spoke, his mouth mimicking the movement of
theirs as he followed their conversation.

She smiled "Well enough sad business, our first time meeting
should be a happy occasion no matter what. Together we can help
one another reclaim their kingdoms and defeat whatever source is
behind this." she said happily.
