The water below was black, ink blanketing the waters. If
someone was lucky they could see maybe 2 inches in front of
their face.

Staying for a few seconds, making sure there was nothing left
Lance swam back the platform. Once He was on the platform, he
collapse on it. HIs chest fell up and down slowly as he stared
at the sky.

As he caught his breath, a last squid resurfaced once again,
aiming to strike him from the floating platform.

Lance was knocked back into the sea, jin glowed a soft blue
green color. A water shark tired to grab one of the squid, a red
glow coming from the shark.

The shark hit home, its teeth sinking into the squid. The squid
writhed in agony as the shark continued.

the shark dragged the squid under the water, the red glow
glowing brighter until the shark exploded.

The lifeless body of the squid slowly fell to the darkest
fathoms of the sea.

Lance poked at the squid's body with Jin, feeling satisfied that
its soul no longer rested in its body. He swam to shore.
