From out of the inky blackness the head of a giant squid
emerged. Its eyes were full of rage as he stabbed its tentacle,
but it didn't let go. Another snaked its way around his waist
and started to squeeze.

Seeing the stupid Lance gasp and air bubbles escaped from his
mouth. He cut at the tentacles coming at him and swam for the
platform.

As he crested the surface he would see the platform still a good
few meters away. Despite him cutting the tentacles, teh squid
merely recoiled before giving chase.

Lance swam as fast as he could trying to get to the platform. He
need to be on the platform to fight back.

Blood began to be seen in the water from the inured creature,
its movements slower than usual due to its injuries. Airin
watched from afar.

Lance climb onto the platform. He took a deep breath and closed
his eyes, stilling his nerves. He put Jin by his side.

Giving him but an instant to calm his nerves, many tentacles
sprung from the bloody water beneath him, 3, 4 maybe 10. Could
they all come from a single creature? They began to thrash up
against him. attemting to drive him back into the water.

Five pairs of eyes watched him beneath the surface. As the
tentacles were batted away, each hit in succession increased in
intensity. The platform began to shake as they beat against the
bottom.
Airin sighed and watched from the boat. Lance needed to figure
this out on his own, she merely hoped her teachings would stick
with him.

Lance fall into the sea, seeing the five pairs of eyes. Lance
swam towards the close pair and tryed to stab the eye.
