She pulled out her cutlass, her eyes the color of the placid
sea. She held it to the sun and cast a bright light onto the
water. Slicing her hand she let droplets of blood fall into the
ocean. "You shall see."

As the blood hit the water the ocean began to rile. Airin
herself went back to the helm and lowered the sails, letting the
ship begin its way back in the direction of the land they had
started at this trip. The ocean itself became dark underneath
Lance.

Lance watched as the sea darken. He shallowed a lump in his
throat. He looked around, expecting the worst.

The shadow below him continued to grow as he watched it. Soon
long tenticles appeared from in the water. A ways away where
the ship was, something dropped into the water, a form of
platform.

Lance eyes wided and he dived under trying to avoid the
tentacles. Seeing the platform land in the sea, lance swam
towards.

Without so much as a moment of hesitation the tenticles gave
chase. Several sprang up as he made his way towards the
platform, aiming to block his path.

Taking a deep breath, Lance dove under water and pulled him
from his scabbat and cut through one of the tenticles.

His blade cut through the tentacle with ease. However as soon
as the cut was made, two more wrapped around his feet and began
to drag him under the water.
