Airin stood leaned up against a tree. Despite being inland in
the jungle, the sound of the waves lapping at the sand filtered
through the trees. In a clearing a dozen yards away, Lance was
finishing up his training for the day. It had been 8 years, 8
long years since they had come to rest here. Today was the day,
the day his training and his heritage became one. Today he
would take his right of passage, and become the king he was
meant to be.

Lance sat with his eyes closed, his shoulder move with each of
his deep breaths. His body had grown over the years, he stood
now at 5'10. His hair grow to the nape of his shoulders and was
normally tied in a loose pony tail with two strands. Training
with Airin had showed that around his 14 birthday that he need
glasses to which He now wears a pair of black round lenses
glasses.
His training with Airin Has left him with a toned body. His
childish way of training until he would pass out, only happen
when nightmares of his parents death would hunt him. Once his
training started Lance started to change, He would rarely smile
and was quite serious about his training or reading on the past
of Vatras, only having a day off when Airin make him too.
His eyes slowly open and fell to the sword in front of him. The
blade was close to falling apart, just like every other blade he
bought and train with. All blades would break apart with his
training, it was a fact he accept with the fact he believe that
his family family heirloom Jin lost when he left the castle. He
stood up and grab the sword before him, taking a few swings on a
tree near by. the Blade of the sword broke and with a sigh, he
walked to Airin." I need another sword.."

Airin sighed as she pushed herself up off the tree she was
leaning against. Shaking her head a playful frown crossed her
lips. "You wouldn't need a new sword if you didn't keep
breaking every blade that you use."

"They break to easily. This is just training... I was not even
trying my best with this one.." He said as he look at the broken
blade in his hands.

Airin shook her head with a soft sigh. "You would think that
someone would be able to make a sword that you didn't break in
as many moons as I can count on my hands."

Lance nodded his head." The craftsman work is crap, my old
wooden sword could hold up better . When can we left to get
another one?"

Airin laughed lightly. "I am quite sure there are some splendid
craftsman out there, whether you have found a suitable one or
not." She looked up at the sky for a moment. "Well, we won't
be going anywhere today."

"What do you mean, Airin? I need a new sword... I can't train
without my sword." Lance said a bit of whinying in his voice

what day it was." It's does not matter the sword is still at the
castle..."
