Aldon looked at soren and his hand before accepting the help
"and why is the advisor to hanradesh in a place like this?" he
said as he looked around at the heavys. feeling his power boost
he looked up at the young woman and put two together "your
charge?" he said while still looking at lucia. aldon sighed
before noticing cedric and lowell "cedric is here too!?!?" he
looked at him baffled ".....w-what is he doing?"cedric stood
behind lowell unknowingly, he mutters something and his hand
glows a soft white "die" he says and thrusts his hand through
lowells back, instantly a shriek came from lowells body and the
heavys bodies went limp and there roars quiet. as the heavy
released lowell, cedric placed him on his stomach and pulled his
hand out from his back. there was no blood and no wound but in
cedrics hand was a dark brown worm like creature. it had no eyes
but had a mouth full of razor sharp teeth "if we would have
continued fighting......we'd be next for it to control" he
looked around at the heavys and all of a sudden web like strings
could be seen stretching from each heavy and covering everything
even us all.

Katrina's steps slowed for a second as she felt herself
strengthen at Luxia's grace. Her steps quickened as Cedric drew
behind Lowell. As his hand thrust through his back she let out
an involuntary gasp. [i]"Cedric?" Within moments as the heavys
fell she was at Cedric's side, her bow still in her hand. Her
gaze came to fall on the creature in Cedric's hand.

Lowell didn't notice Cedric behind him and winces in pain when
Cedric thrust his hand into his back and pulled out the worm. He
gritted his teeth to endure the pains as Cedric spoke and felt
himself strengthen by Luxia's ability, slowly getting up onto
one knee with his sword as support as he look at the worm. 'That
thing was inside me?! How did I not noticed that?' he thought to
himself angrily as he look around for the man that was ordering
the heavy.

From her spot she observed them, gasping softly when she saw
Cedric attack and pull something out of Lowell and reminded
herself to heal everyone afterwards. She noticed the heavys
cease attacking but took note of the odd strings covering
everything. Are they a thread that leads to the source of this
problem?" she thought and flew up higher to get a better look.

Soren gave a half smile. "I could ask the same of the advisor
to Ving." Soren followed his brief gaze to Xia. "Yes my
charge." His gaze was drawn to the boy and Cedric as his job
was done. His eyes narrowed at the creature in his hand.

cedric used his free hand to help lowell as he stood. the man
was gone, slipping through his portal at the beginning of the
fight. "this is a marionette mandrake. a demonic worm that can
control people through these webs" he pulled the dead worms jaw
open to reveal the same web in its mouth "i saw it when you made
contact with the first soldier. it hides using a spell that can
cloak and phase it through the skin. only a few could have seen
it so dont beat yourself up about it" cedric winked and looked
at katrina with a soft smile "i think introductions are to be
made" he looked back at aldon,soren, and luxia and walked over
to them. seeing that lowell was ok he turned his attention back
to soren " seeing that aldon is here only two viable answers
come to mind.....you are in the same predicament......or you
have aided in creating the predicament" aldon gave a soft glare
to soren and touched the hilt of one of his swords.

Katrina listened quietly as Cedric explained, taking in the
knowledge with her normal fervor. As his attention was turned
back to her, she nodded softly her expression slipping back to
that of her courtly state. [i]"I guess introductions would be
the next order of affairs." She followed in step with him as he
went to the others, and stood gracefully at his side.

Lowell walks over to Aldon's side and grip his sword tightly,
but hold his free hand to halt Aldon's attempt as his pale brown
eyes gaze at the others. "... Then I suggest you introduce
yourself first." He said as his eyes went over back to Cedric;
he doesn't let his guard down at all, though.

She moved to stand slightly in front of Soren as she let her
wind fairy vanish "Before that is anyone badly hurt and in need
of healing?" she asked, ignoring the slight hostility and looked
at them.

Soren gave a soft sigh and ran his hand through his hair.
Giving a look to Xia, he gave a small smile, a few minor
injuries and scrapes on his body. "Nothing I can't handle." He
returned his gaze to the other two advisors, giving the smallest
glare back to Aldon. "Going on assumption....I would be
horrified if you were to think as much of us."
