the man smirked and looked aldon up and down "first.....who are
you and why are you attacking my men?" the man paced forward til
he was standing in front of aldon. "rebels? clans men?
do-gooders who cant stay out of peoples business?" aldon looked
the man directly in the eyes ".......we are nachtali.....you're
men are passing through our territory without permission. be you
demon, Angel, or man. trespassing is death by the nachtali law"
aldon said coldly. the nachtali were a native clan in this
region of the Ajirahn Jungle. the man smirked and turned his
back to aldon. a perfect chance to be struck down.....but aldon
made no move. why? Cedric seemed confused at this also, he
gripped his broad sword tight and looked to Katrinas position,
his eyes went wide and he began to make hand gestures hoping she
would see. behind her creeped a man through the trees. a small
blade gripped firmly in his hands, his footsteps made no noise
as he made his way toward her. the distinct man turned back to
aldon once he was closer to the portal "..........kill them" the
heavys began to move. the one closest to lowell that was
attacked by him brought his mighty halberd up and down hoping to
cleave lowell down the middle. another heavy tried to take aldon
out with a chain of swings with his giant axe. aldon jumped back
and rushed the heavy. "kill the ones hiding as well" the man
said and looked to where luxia was. a few heavys turned there
heads in that direction and ran toward her with weapons at the
ready.

Her fingers griped softly on another arrow as it was pulled back
in the bow. She frowned as the man in the clearing smirked,
wanting to make a move to strike him, but knowing she still
needed to be clear headed enough to not make a rash move.
Catching small movements out of the corner of her eye, she
turned to see Cedric making gestures. Confused, she tilted her
head, as if silently asking what was the problem. Quickly she
began to look around. Her eyes widened as she saw the man with
the knife. Stumbling backwards, she instinctively let the arrow
fly, but in the suddenness of the turn, her arrow flew into a
nearby tree.

Lowell kept his eyes on the man as Aldon spoke. It was truth
that they have been living with the native clan for 8 years,
training and learning with them, he considered them important.
He notice the heavy's movement and jumped side way to avoid the
halberd and strike the heavy's side with his sword. Thanks to
his successful hits from earlier, his attacking power has
increased a small considered amount.

"Damn and I didn't want to get involved." she muttered before
heaving herself up onto the tree branch. The staff began to glow
as she side swiped and sent her three crescent blades at the
ones coming towards her spot. "I summon the guardians of the
wind and sky to aid me." she summoned, the winds coiled around
her vanishing to leave a wind fairy crouched beside her.

Soren rubbed his head lightly before holding his sword at the
ready. With a quick glance up at Luxia, he spoke quietly, "Be
careful Xia." He quickly positioned himself defensively near
the tree she had pulled herself into.

the man smirked as the arrow hit the tree. he gripped the knife
tighter and aimed a stab at her heart. just as the knife was to
hit her the branch holding her snapped sending her falling to
the ground below. familiar arms caught her and held her close.
cedric looked down at her with a soft smile "......almost lost
you" a body came crashing to the ground next to them. it was the
man that attempted to kill katrina. in his chest was a large
dagger. it glowed like cedrics bracelet and disappeared. heavys
came running at them and cedric sat katrina on her feet "we'll
work together ok......incapacitate them and i'll take it from
there" cedric rushed toward the heavys. his bracelet glowed
again and two axes were in his hands. the heavys carried
halberds.
the heavy attacking luxia came to a skidding halt as the wind
fairy was in her steed. the heavy tilted his armored head and
decided to go after soren instead he swung his sword across
aiming for sorens chest. two other heavys launched there spears
at the wind fairy.
the heavy turned slowly to lowell the wound on his side bleeding
prefusely from the strike. he walked toward lowell and attempted
another swing. Aldon swung his sword and making it look too easy
cleaved the heavy in half. two more rushed him taking the ones
place.

As the tree branch broke, she cried out in a momentary panic.
As familiar arms caught her she curled into them instinctively
for the moment of protection the offered. Biting her lip softly
she looked down. [i]"I don't mean to go that easily........I'm
sorry Cedric." She murmured the last part. Nodding softly she
sat an arrow on the string. [i]"I can do that." She let an
arrow fly....which burst into several flaming arrows as it
proceeded on its course, hoping to confuse the heavys.

Lowell grin slightly and ran to its' side to dodge another swing
and stabbed his sword into its' side, then he forcefully moved
his ancient sword forward to cut through the side deeper and
bigger before giving a powerful punch to its' back to push him
down.

Knowing Soren could take care of himself she didn't worry too
much. Instead she focused on the spears and stood up as the wind
fairy swirled in front of her deflecting the spears. "A platform
and give us a bit of distance." The fairy nodded before breaking
apart into the wind to swirl beneath her feet and lifted her
into the air. "Now fairy of flames lend me your power." she
summoned and the small fire fairy took form in front of her and
immediately began firing fireballs down at the heavys below.

Soren jumped back barely in time to minimize the damage to his
chest. With quick and nimble movements he dragged his sword
through the heavy's sides before giving is a solid kick to the
back.
