the man coughed up blood and smirked ".......die" the ground
shook as two large figures stepped through the portals. they
easily stood eight feet tall, there gray chest was bare. there
dark gray helms bore brown ivory horns. there dark gray
chainmail legs clanked together as they continued marching out.
more poured out in a uniform fashion. all carrying various heavy
weapons ranging from axes to halberds. Aldon watched the
prisoners make there way out the forest. prisoners finally safe
he turned his attention to the heavy soldiers. "this is going to
be an annoying day" Aldon sighed and brought his dual swords to
the ready. Cedric watched from his vantage point. the man
coughed up some more blood before he died. the heavy soldiers
made no move to attack, there was twenty in total. cedric bit
his lip wondering what to do "........thats Aldon of the Ving
Kingdom.........why is he in this forest?" he looked up to where
Katrina was and came to a surprising hypothesis
"............couldn't be" he looked to lowell and rubbed his
chin

Her mind completely focused on the scene in front of her,
Katrina's face barely twitched as the blood shed dyed the earth
crimson. Her eyes flicked momentarily to the boy who had killed
the other, however as the figures began to march out of the
portals she bit her lip. Quietly she moved herself to a higher,
clearer vantage point. She knew she would need to get closer
eventually....at least if she wanted to use that. With perfect
concentration, she drew the arrow back to her cheek. With a
soft exhale the arrow flew towards the front most of the large
figures neck, aiming to sever the major artery. As soon as the
arrow was on its true course, she moved quickly to a new branch
to avoid detection.

Lowell's eyes narrowed on the large soldiers and nodded in
agreement with Aldon's words. 'This isn't going to end well...'
He was taken surprise by the arrow, but decide to use that as a
distraction and strike at the nearest heavy soldier, giving a
series of ten slash and slices at it, with each successful
hits, his attack powers increase very little.

Luxia shoved a piece of foliage out of her way as she stormed
through the jungle. "I really hate having to force myself
through this place..." she muttered, walking she checked the
strap keep her staff tied to her back. She didn't notice the
tree root sticking out the ground and tripped over it, letting
out a yell of surprise as she began tumbling down a steep
incline. As she came to a stop she groaned in pain and rubbed
the back of her head, the sudden sound of weapons clashing
caused her to look up in surprise at the scene before her.

Soren followed patiently behind Luxia as she pushed through the
foliage. Listening to the sounds that were slowly permeating
the forest. His hand reaching out to steady the heiress a
moment too late as she tumbled down the incline, he muttered
angry words at himself under his breath as he made his way
unseen down through the brush.

The arrow struck home but the heavy neither flinched nor gave
any sign of agitation to attack. Lowells attacks struck to but
they barely pierced the skin. Cedric and aldon looked baffled at
this. Aldon gripped his swords tighter and looked to where the
arrow came from, not seeing anyone he turned his attention back
to the heavys ".........why arentt they moving?" Aldon looked at
them baffled " they won't move until I say...." a voice came
from the portal, soon followed by a figure stepping through. His
frame was skinny but he wore a way more distinct outfit than the
others ".....I have questions before I have them kill you"

Katrina glared at the figure she had pierced with the arrow as
it made no sign of being struck, Cedric's expression only
causing the frown to deepen. Cautiously she moved herself
closer to the edge of a branch nearer to the scene unfolding
below. She wanted to be able to hear what was being said.

Lowell narrowed his eyes when he saw his sword barely pierced
the skin and stepped back next to aldon, still gripping his
sword when another uniform man step out of the portal. He frown
slightly at the man's words but stayed quiet, deciding to hear
what he might ask first, but he doesn't let his guard down.

A battle? Out here, for what reason?" she thought and silently
moved back til she was able to hide behind a tree. She stood up
and pulled loose the strap holding her staff, catching it she
peeked out from behind the tree and wondered what was going on.

As Soren approached where Luxia had landed, he glanced out at
the scene in front of him. "Isn't that Aldon from Ving? What
on earth..." He thought to himself as he gathered information
on what was going on. He gripped his sword lightly, listening
intently to the conversation between the visible people.
