The smell of the salt air [Vatras castle, midday]

Heels clicked steadily on the stone as the doors opened to the
outside. The bright sun streamed in and the salt on the air was
comforting for any of those who lived by the ways of the sea.
The sun streamed down, catching the soft blue hair of the woman
who walked the walls that overlooked the sea. Her hand running
through her hair, she leaned back against the wall, enjoying the
smell of the sea. This was Airin Frosberg, the advisor to the
heir of Vatras. In her 23 years she had seen much of the world,
but she had come to find a home her among the Vatras people.

On the lush green grass stood a small boy with long black hair
and glasses. A wooden sword was firmly grip in his hand, his
training Gi hung loose on his body. His thin arms shake
slightly, He once again have been raining for hours. The boy was
the heir to Vatras kingdom, Lance Oliver. He was stubborn, would
not take no for an answer and firmly believed in tradition but
he also had a kind heart, loved all living things and valued
       life to the fullest.

Airin's gaze was pulled down to her young charge in the grass
below. Keenly seeing the boy's arms shake she shook her head
and hoisted herself up on the ledge. Whistling loud enough to
draw his attention, she shook her head. "Can I assume young
master, that you have not taken a water break in the recent
hours?" With quick skill and cat like agility, she launched
herself off the wall, and landed near him on the grass.

Lance answered her without looking at her."No. a battle does
not stop because Someone is tried."

Airin smirked softly. "While this is true, it does one no good
to spend all your reserves training for battle. When it comes
time for you to go without rest on a battlefield, then you will
tackle that challenge. Till then however, it does you little
good to dehydrate yourself. You can train longer with proper
care taken." She said, her voice full of wisdom.

Lance drop the wooded sword to his side." Fine. I don see why a
few hours without water would kill someone.." he said sulking.

She smiled and handed him a flask of water she carried at her
side for just these moments. "A few hours may not kill someone
in normal circumstances, but some master that I know might have
       a tendency to overwork himself."

Lance took the flask." I'm the heir to the kingdom, I must be
strong and lead by example... if I expect people to follow me I
must show them that I will to do what it takes to lead them.
That Im not some spoiled brat." He poured some of the water on
       his face.

Airin smiled and leaned back against one of the half walls.
"And that is a valiant way to live, I would expect no less from
the heir to Vatras. However if you utterly disregard your
limits then you only do yourself a disservice. Plus then it
would be me being the one to pick up your unconscious form from
       the training field."

Lance stared at her." You have a point.." he reached for his
glasses." What are you doing out here?"
