She blushed and quickly tugged the hat off "No Soren I hate
pink, it never looks right with my hair!" she said and threw it
at his face, pouting. She stuck her tongue out and picked up the
green one. "You can wear the pink one, it'll look wonderful on
you." she teased.

Soren was already laughing softly as she removed the pink hat.
Taking it from her he put it slightly off center in his pure
white hair. "Aww, but im sure the pink hat just wanted to be
yours. It shall have to take second place on my head." He
smirked as he put the green on on her head.

she rolled her eyes and went to go find a mirror. She adjusted
the hat, a concentrated frown on her face "Hey Soren...do you
think I'll make a good ruler one day?" sh randomly asked.

Soren watched her, noting the frown on her face. At the
question he tilted his head softly, and walked up behind her.
"Luxia, I can say with the utmost certainty, that I believe you
will make a wonderful ruler. You are kind, caring, always
wanting to learn. You have all the right qualities, and the
people love you."

"I can't even picture myself becoming a ruler of everybody. I
know when the staff is passed down it means I'll officially rule
but that's so weird. I'll have to start training soon..." she
said thoughtfully and stopped messing with the hat. "I haven't
even gone beyond this city!"

Soren smiled softly, and put a hand on her shoulder. "It may
seem hard to imagine now, but in time it will seem less strange.
Once your training begins, it will start to seem more of an
actuality. As your training progresses you will see, and by the
time you take the staff, you will be ready."

Soren nodded and talked to the shop keeper for a moment to
settle up about the hat. As he came back he nodded. "That
should be no problem. I'm sure having you back before your
parents notice you're missing is the best for both of us."

legs no longer work?" He teased her softly. Swiftly, he had
