Soren squeezed her hand softly as she pouted. "Come on now, you
know today is the day the stores get in their new shipments.
Lets see if there is anything new and exciting today." He began
to lead them into the market. Everywhere the young heiress
went, the people smiled, she was truly beloved in the kingdom.

Seeing the smiles aimed at her she smiled back, using her free
hand to try and smooth down her stubborn strands of hair. "Maybe
a pretty hat, that way I can disguise myself the next time I
sneak away?" she suggested.

Soren smiled watching the young heiress' actions and nodded both
at her comment and to the people as they walked. "I'm sure we
can find a hat like that, just don't tell your parents what it's
actually for." He smirked softly.

His face paled slightly at the thought. Rubbing the back of his
head with a sheepish smile he nodded. "That settles it, they
will not be told what the hat is for. I certainly don't need to
be scolded for your exploration."

She looked thoughtful. "Hmm fine I won't tell but only if we get
a really pretty green hat, a bag of candy...and umm whatever new
toys they have!" she said, grinning proudly. "All of that and I
won't tell on you."

He smiled softly at her. "I know you do, but tomorrow I believe
you can manage it. Remember tomorrow night is the festival at
the castle, which means you have but a mere third of them to sit
through. Then the castle will become its own enchantment to
explore. Plus you still get the candy, toys, and the hat. I
don't believe my request is that unfair, and if it makes you
feel better I shall sit through your lessons and be bored with
you." He tussled her hair softly.
