Katrina found her fingers trailing over the side of the cloak,
her mind momentarily questioning the validity of her memories
from before she was asleep. As she watched the sun rise over
Arundel, she shook her head she knew it was true. As the
familiar comfort of Cedric's arm around her calmed her slightly,
she moved her eyes from the object he was holding to him. "Good
Morning Cedric." Her voice was softer than normal, still
carrying a bit of the hoarseness it had when her parents had
died.

Cedric looked at her ".........you there will be a day we must
return correct?" he continued to look at her with soft eyes
"until then i need you to understand that this was the next best
move. the king and queen.....your mother and father.....are
dead, and the responsibilities of ruler are yours a little
earlier than ordained but none the less they are yours" he
unwrapped the object revealing her mothers bow, he held it out
to her " Justice and Order is the Back Bone of our
Kingdom.....and by the Gods Justice and Order will return to
Arundel to take the Kingdom Once Again"

As he spoke she nodded softly. At the mention of her mother and
father her eyes grew faintly bleary, but she did not cry, not
yet. As he unwrapped the bow her hand outstretched to take it.
The smooth ivory beneath her fingers almost seemed alive to her
touch. "I...I understand why this is right. Mom and dad....."
She trailed off softly, biting her lip. "If it is time for me
to take the bow......then it is time. Arundel will not remain
lost forever." She spoke softly, with a sad conviction in her
eyes. The bow seemed to react beneath her fingers as she spoke.
A soft light that started as white and shifted to crimson
filtered out from the bow as her grip tightened. The light
continued to grow stronger for a long moment before it's
intensity peaked. Within moments the young heir slumped
forward, the bow falling into her lap. A few stray tears
finally rolled down her cheek.

Cedric placed a hand on her head as she cried, no words would
come from him. he knew that this was needed.....because there
would be no time for it in the future. Arundel behind them, the
jungle lied ahead of them. there new home.....at least until
they would be able to retake there old home
