"Mother and father....." Her voice came out in a worried
whisper. Keeping her second hand on her skirt, keeping the hem
up off the ground she was able to keep up with Cedric, while she
kept a hold of him. Her eyes went wide as he spoke. "Demons?
Inside the castle walls? What could their master be after?"
She asked, her question half to herself. As they came to the
dining room, her heart raced hearing the sounds from where her
parents should be. Her heels clicked softly as she ran to keep
up with Cedric, the worry growing with every step.

Cedric came to a stop near the Dining Hall double doors " lady
Katrina the same rules apply as outside.....whatever i say do"
cedric moved a stray piece of hair out of her face, not waiting
for a reply he knew she would listen. he opened the door.
Soldiers Kept a barrier around the king who was commanding his
soldiers while also holding a wounded queen. Demons of all
Calibers push the Soldiers, King and Queen Back. A large Ogre
like demon Snatched up one of the Soldiers and Bit down on his
shoulder. the soldier Screamed in pain and dropped his shield
and sword to try and pull the ogre demons head off of his
shoulder. Cedric quickly tossed Lady Katrina onto his back and
rushed toward the demons. his steps was soft and quick as he
hopped up the demon and stabbed it in the neck. the demon
screamed and dropped the soldier and cedric jumped off "are you
ok my lady?" he looked back at her and jumped back to make
distance as the Ogre Demon gave a wild swing at them and missed.
the soldiers cheered with renewed Hopes seeing Cedric take out
the Demon and seeing Lady Katrina Alive.

She merely nodded as he brushed the hair from her face. Her
face went pale as they entered and she saw the scene. So many
demons, she never dreamed she would see so many in one place,
let alone in her home. Her eyes went to her mother and father.
A mixture of relief and dispair closed in around her. They were
alive, but her mother was hurt. Holding onto Cedric tightly as
he put her on his back, she couldn't close her eyes as she
watched his blade pierce the demon's neck. [i]"I'm alright
Cedric." She managed to get out quietly as the soldiers cheered

Cedric Nodded and looked at the demons " leave this kingdom
now......and i won't kill all of you" the soldiers rallied near
Cedric and brought there weapons to a ready. the demons watched
the soldiers but did not make a move. the sound of a blade being
pulled out of flesh came from behind them. cedric turned to the
noise and looked on in shock, a mantis demon stood above the
king and queens lifeless bodies, its blades covered in there
blood. Cedric screamed and tossed his sword at the demon. it
flew straight through the mantis head and killed it. the blade
came right back and cedric turned his attention to the other
demons. anger and hatred burned in his eyes "KILL THEM ALL!!"
cedric screamed. the soldiers screamed and ran at the demons.
Cedric ran to the king and queen and checked them to see if they
were still alive

Katrina held on tight to Cedric the whole time. Seeing the
soldiers rally around them gave her hope. With everyone like
this, the demon's didn't stand a chance....right? At the sound
from behind them, her head was already turning before Cedric
turned. A horrified scream came from the young heiress, her
voice hoarse. Cedric's scream barely peirced the frenzy of her
mind. As they neared the king and queen, she practically fell
off his back, her screams now silent as her hands went to her
mother and father, as if she couldn't believe that they were
gone. She knew they were, the sense that she had for danger was
screaming at her. There was no energy coming from them anymore.
Tears streamed down her cheeks, as she shook uncontrollably.

cedric looked away as he felt know life coming from the king and
queen. he looked back at the soldiers fighting only to see them
losing to the demons. everything was crumbling around them. he
looked at katrina and could clearly see her losing it. "......im
sorry katrina" cedric reached for her neck and pinched a spot
that would make her lose consciousness. as her conscious was
slowly fading he turned and walked toward the demons just as
they were finishing off the last of the soldiers "i will end all
of you" his body glowing with a bright white light and the
demons jumping on him would be the last thing katrina saw

Her hands grasping at the edges of her parents clothing, blood
that had been spilled from them coating her hands. Tears
continued in a steady flow down her cheeks as she felt her
stomach once again try to actively revolt against her.
"No........." was all she could manage watching the last of the
color leave her parent's faces. Cedric's voice making it
through the fog of her mind, no more than a whisper, she turned
to see his face. Suddenly the world began to go dark. She had
barely felt the pinch, she could barely feel anything at that
point. Watching the light from Cedric and the demon's her body
instinctively crumpled into Cedric as her world went dark.

the soft sound of hooves clicking against stone would soon wake
the princess. cedric sat across from her wearing a cloak with
the hood up. they seemed to be in the back of a peasant carriage
only notable to be a peasant carriage because of the fact that
the carriage carried farm supplies. the sun could be seen rising
slowly over the kingdom of Arundel that was getting smaller and
smaller in the distance. Cedric seemed to be focused on the
large wrapped item in his hands.

Katrina began to rouse quietly. A few moments of peace passed
before the events of her last waking moments came rushing back
to her. Shaking slightly she looked down to see if her hands
were still covered in blood. A moment later she was taking in
her surroundings. Seeing Cedric, she moved nearer to him
softly.

her clothes were completely changed and clean and she was also
in a cloak and hood. cedric looked at her with a soft smile and
wrapped an arm around her "Good Morning My lady" he said with
his usual smile
