Katrina found herself leaning against the fence as Cedric
prepared. Smiling brightly as his bow appeared, her eyes went
wide. It never ceased to amaze her at the brilliance of the
bow. Her blue eyes, haunting in color, were utterly trained on
his stance and technique.

taking a deep inhale and exhale cedric brought the bow up with
his left hand and notched an arrow. he took another deep breath
and everything went quiet. the sound of the wind blowing through
the trees around the archery filed filled the air. cedrics eyes
were unwavering and locked on his target. he released the arrow
and it went silently. the string never even made a sound. the
only thing heard was the thump of the arrow smacking bullseye.
cedric smiled and knocked another bow ".....bullseye" he
released it and smacked another target dead on

Katrina's breath caught as she watched Cedric. His skill with a
bow was truly a sight to see. The sound of the wind whispering
through the range was soothing to the young heiress. As Cedric
nailed a bullseye, it was all she could do to stifle a cheer.
She carefully took note of his form, ghost practicing her form
as well.

Midway into her own mock stance as she tried to copy Cedric's,
her concentration was broken as he called her name. Tilting her
head she turned her gaze to him. [color=darkred][i]"Yes
Cedric?"

"come.....to me.......now" he said in a hushed voice, his eyes
were trained on not the target.....but the dark forest behind
the target.

The tone in his voice was unmistakable. Normally composed, the
ten year old heiress had a look of worry on her face. A few
quick steps and she clutched her book and her dress, hiding
slightly behind Cedric.

She kept her eyes turned towards the spot that craig was
watching.

"valiance be me, everyday of my life...........quick mode!!" the
bow light up with a soft light. the forest reacted quickly, from
it came thousands of black birds, there crimson eyes gleamed in
the fresh moonlight giving the look of blood falling from a sky
filled with darkness. the birds came fast but cedric was faster.
he released the arrow and it replaced itself giving him a kind
of rapid shot. as the birds rushed forward he smacked the birds
dead on
