Personality: Cunning and resourceful, Katrina often questions
the world around her. Able to throw on the royal "charm" she
can blend into social situations easily enough. However she is
often digging or scheming behind the mask of her smile.
Unphased by straying into the dark, she is often inquisitive to
subjects many see as taboo.
Kingdom: Arundel
Ruling Weapon: An Ivory bow with intricate runic designs. The
bowstring is a razor wire, only allowing those whom it is willed
to, to draw the bow back. This bow needs no arrows, though
normal arrows may be used if the wielder desires.
Attacks-
- Festival of Light - A single arrow of fire is launched from
the bow. As it reaches the peak of its flight, it bursts into
10's to 100's of arrows raining down on the enemies below.
- Court of Miracles - The bow itself acts as an archway,
enticing those who wish to cause harm into it's enchanting aura.
Once inside, those thoughts of peace and happiness quickly
become those of their most intense nightmares. The longer one
remains in its spell, the most of their life force is sucked
into the bow.
- Invitation to Dine - The bowstring of the bow becomes blade
like in its appearance. Able to slice through most living
things, extendable from the bow itself, it spills the blood of
those it meets. The crimson liquid spilled is then drank by the
bow, deep red hues telling the tale in the ivory bow.
- Severing Ties - For those whom have spilled their blood to the
bow, another fate they may encounter. Able to generate a
crimson silhouette of those whose blood resides in the ivory,
the cursed bow can set it's mark on that person from meters to
miles away. An arrow fired into this replica will result in the
same wound manifesting on the individual themselves.
Secondary weapons: A long spear with an intricate blade design
Style of Combat: Katrina's strength is as a ranged fighter.
Stealthy and agile, she positions herself so that she may strike
with deadly force, but will not be pinpointed easily. If she
must fight in closer combat she uses a long reach weapon (Her
spear). Her agility and speed aid her in effective blows to
incapacitate and escape if need be.
Magic:
- Blessings of the Crown - This is deeply interwoven into her
being as a highborn lady of the court,, these are spells and
abilities passed down through the royal bloodline.
- Forgotten Magic - Spells of long ago, shrouded in darkness.
Katrina's intrigue and curiosity lead her to stumble upon their
existence.
Spells for 1st magic:
- Regal Audience - This gives the ability to raise people's
emotions when it is needed. When a ruler needs to bolster their
people onward in courage in war, or to raise the spirits in a
time of hardship, this can be used by the royal bloodline.
- Royal Tapestry - An innate ability to read the stars, the
women of the Margas line have the ability to peer into the
future. Whether it presents itself in the world around them or
through dreams, the signs are there if they pay heed.
- Ancestral watch - The motives of those that surround the royal
bloodline are not always clear through their actions or
expressions. Too many have been betrayed by a smiling face.
Through the years that have passed the Margas line has become
keen to see past the facade that those around them put up and
sense if there is danger. Attributed to those of the past
looking out for those of the living, Margas women are now known
for their keen perception.
Spells for 2nd magic
- Whispers of Blasphemy - "There is not a soul that walks the
earth that is as pure as the driven snow. No matter what the
darkness is it exists." Katrina's eyes darken, and a black glow
surrounds her. The aura that surrounds her amplifies the
darkness in one's heart, driving them to madness. In surges of
great power she can then take this darkness and make it her
strength.
- The Iron Maiden - "Have you ever felt alone? Truly and
utterly alone?" A hand laid upon a shoulder does not always
bring comfort. Katrina's hand glows a soft black as she touches
the target. Slowly the target begins to mistrust, feelings of
love and hope are replaced by lingering despair and anguish.
