Common Name: Anubias Barteri(varaints have other names)
Latin Name: Anubias Barteri
Family Name: Araceae
Plant Form: Rhizome
Sold as: Rhizome with leaves, some roots. Sometimes sold
attached to hardscape.
Placement: mid/background. Smaller variant such as nana are
forground/midground.
Max Size: 16 inches.
Plant Location: West Africa
Flowers: Flowering is rare. Flowers are small and white. One of
he few plants that flowers underwater.
Propagation: Rhizome division.
Growth Rate: Slow
True Aquatic: No. Can be grown fully submersed, partially
immersed, or fully immersed(must have humid environment.)
pH:6.5-7.5
Supplements: None necessary, however fertilizing the water
column is beneficial.
Lighting: Low to medium.
Care Level: Easy.
