If you are looking for places to get images with consent-
Wikimedia Commons
Unsplash
Both are great websites I have used. Give credit where
applicable.
I'd like to remind people when making profiles, don't use
pictures off websites if you did not get permission from the
photographer/author themselves.

I agree totally. You need to make sure you provide the
Photographer or the websites name/link.
If you took the photo yourself, there is no need to mention the
fact. Unless a moderator asks.

Even if it says “Free image”, I still recommend posting the
link.
