(I stole your title. I didn't want to think up another one)
Spotting a rabbit, Swiftpaw lowered herself to the ground and
crept forward. She'd done horribly on her last hunt, she had to
catch something this time! She'd gone all the way to the edge of
the territory looking for a good plump one and now that she
found it, she wasn't going to let it get away! Once she was
close enough, she sprang forward. The rabbit darted across the
grassland in fear, Swiftpaw close behind it.

(You'll have to make an effort to be obvious though. Swiftpaw
can be pretty oblivious.)
Swiftpaw finally caught up to the rabbit, digging her claws into
its thin hide. She killed it with a quick bite to the neck.

Picking it up in her jaws she turned around, catching a flash of
white fur. "Janepaw?" she meowed, dropping the rabbit as she
spoke.

The she-cat squeaked and darted into a bush, rustling some
leaves on the way.
