better." Standingkit laughed, nudging his side. She blushed

he said. "I'm not the sharpest stick in the forest! You, on the
other hand, are pretty smart."

the nursery before anyone notices." Standingkit didn't look back
at him as they entered camp, her tail flicking silently.

"Oh, erm, thanks!" Standingkit smiled at him before darting into
the Nursery while the rest of them were taking their naps. I
almost forgot how boring it was in here...

Kangaroopaw watched the little kit disappear back into the
nursery. She would become a good warrior one day. He turned
away, ready to face his mentor and tell him about the badger
scent he had caught while out.

Standingkit yawned and rolled around in the den before darting
back out, light on her little paws. I'll just try to hunt a
mouse or two, then I'll go back.

Kangaroopaw talked with the leader, explaining what he had
found. He was to lead a team of warriors to look for the badger
and drive it out of the territory.
