Tigerstripe made his way to the center of the camp. This was
going to be his first day training with his new apprentice. He'd
even gotten up early for it. Now if only Piggypaw would show up
before sunhigh.

Piggypaw was still in her den, pretending to be sick. She
wouldn't tell, but Tigerstripe was scary to the frail little
cat.

After waiting for a while Tigerstripe got tired of waiting and
stuck his head into the apprentice den. "Piggypaw!" he yowled,
looking for the apprentice.

She walked out slowly, facing the ground. She sent a silent
prayer to StarClan that he'd be a good mentor.

"Now come on." he said, glad that the she cat finally came out.
"I'm going to show you the territory today." he turned and
padded out of the camp, not really checking to see if Piggypaw
was following him.

She followed, but many feet behind him in case he decided to
lash out at her.

Anger surged through her belly. Suddenly she spat, "Well maybe
I'm just too small, and you're too fat! I'm not a WindClan cat
you know!"
