Greenjay twitched her tail, clearly at unease. The Tribe would
be moving to a different territory for leaf-bare soon, as the
waters were freezing over and the prey were retreating into
burrows. It would be barren on this icy mountaintop. Wanting to
speak to her successor and helper, the Chief waited.

Fish looked straight ahead as she walked toward her leader. Her
expression didn't show it, but she was a bit confused- and
worried- at why Greenjay wanted to speak to her. The frost bit
at her paws as she shoved her way into Greenjay's den and took a
seat. "What is it that you need from me?"the Successor asked,
folding her tail around her paws and trying not to shiver.

"The water's freezing over," Greenjay said, her tone flat, "We
need to find a new place to live for leaf-bare."

"Oh. Do you have any place in mind?.." Fish wasn't happy with
the news. If Greenjay wasn't already sure of the new camp it
would be rather hard to find a place. "...Or do we still need to
find one?" Her tone grew quieter as the last thing she wanted to
do now was leave the semi-warm and safe camp.

"I don't know," she mewed, shaking her head sadly. "I mean,
we've always made our home here! At least for as long as I can
remember." Fish really didn't want to move, but she knew it was
going to be necessary. Finally, she lifted her head and sight.
"There's a clump of trees near the border," She meowed. "It
might not be the best place for a camp, but at least it's dry."

She nodded. That would be better. At least they wouldn't have to
stay in the new camp permanently.
