Tigerstripe sat by the warriors den, watching the ceremony, his
tail flicking back and forth. It was nice to watch
Mercenaryrefugee get her warrior name. Even if it was too long.

Dynamitestar purred at the young kit's enthusiasm. She, once she
got all of her training, would be a great addition to the Clan.
What am I saying? She already is a great addition! "You ready,
Piggykit??" The leader asked the kit, bending down do they were
eye level.

out.

The leader nodded and looked over the Clan for a moment.
"Piggykit. You have reached the age of six moons and is ready to
be an apprentice. From this point until you get your warrior
name, you will be known as Piggypaw." The leader purred slightly
and looked over the Clan once more. His tabby pelt shined in the
sunlight, making an unbearable glare to anyone who looked at it.
"Tigerstripe. You have received excellent training from your
mentor. So I believe its time for you to have an apprentice of
your own. Until Piggypaw gets her warrior name, you will be her
mentor." Dynamitestar flicked his slim tail and nudged Piggypaw
over to the tom, chuckling.

The massive tom hauled himself to his paws. He was glad he was
finally getting an apprentice. But this little cat? He'd
probably squish her before he got a chance to teach her
anything. He almost had to lie down to touch noses with her.

Piggypaw watched nervously as the large cat got closer to her.
Would he be nice to her? Or squash her if she didn't fight good
enough. The cream tabby shook as she stepped closer to touch
noses.

He felt bad for the little scrap. "Calm down kid." he said in
his deep voice. "I don't bite. Much" he added the last bit after
a moment or two.
