       [font=georgia]Greenjay leaped atop the icy rock, tail lashing.
       Leaf-bare had to come so soon, the leader thought bitterly, but
       they had to cope with it. "All cats old enough to swim, gather
       beneath the Icerock for a Tribe meeting!" Sure, they had taken
       Clan customs. But, not exactly. The leader closed her eyes,
       waiting for the cats to assemble. This would be hard news--this
       year's leaf-bare had struck much harder and left them in a
       crisis.

       The Tribe's successor hunched her back in the cold wind, muscles
       feeling like they were frozen. Fish walked out of her den,
       shivering all the way, to take a seat near the water. She'd
       heard that when it was cold like this, the water was usually
       warmer than the surrounding air.

       Greenjay lashed her tail. "Alright. The Tribe of Endless Hunting
       has sent me a message that the mountain will be blanketed with
       snow in a few days. We must migrate--this year, it's worse."

       Sharp Tooth of a Yawning Bear, or Tooth, found himself gathering
       behind the small crowd with curiosity widening his green eyes.
       Sure, he was only a kit, but he liked to have an update on what
       was going on in the Tribe. After listening to the leader call
       out the news, he studied it over a couple of times, wondering
       where the migration would take them.
