SunClan Sign-ups (HPs Open)

[color=limegreen] This is a work in progress. Please do not sign
up yet, but you can ask me to reserve you a cat.
Welcome to the Clan of bubbly, happy cats! SunClan is all about
smiles and having a good time! We always welcome new members,
because the more, the merrier!
Territory

The basic terrain is dry fields, with small patches of wet
marshy areas. There's a pond near camp and a sluggish river
where the cats can drink from. There are Twoleg nests all around
us, but the Twolegs living in them usually leave us alone. The
things we need to look out for are their dogs!
Camp
[spoiler]
There are many entrances and exits to the camp, simple little
holes in the tightly bound wall of bushes and trees. SunClan's
camp is a tall tangle of green in a sea of yellowing fields. The
central part of camp contains all the dens except the nursery
and elders' den, whose dens are under a large low tree farther
away, where they can stay peacefully away from the hustle and
bustle of the rest of the Clan.
The warrior and apprentice dens are right next to each other.
They are the largest dens in camp, able to fit at least twenty
cats each. They're under fallen trees that still have all their
leaves, good for hiding the cats from Twoleg view.
The medicine den is under a stunted tree, shady and sheltered
from bad weather. There is a perpetual puddle inside the den,
which past medicine-warriors have tried to get rid of, but over
the moons it has become a useful source of water for sick cats.
Medicine-warriors may sleep either in the medicine den or the
warrior den, but the medicine den sure id less crowded!
Last but not least is the leader's den. It's inside a huge old
Twoleg pipe that has been cut open and isn't being used for
anything. The den usually isn't used, though. Sunnystar fears
there are spiders inside of it and will only sleep with the
warriors. [She has extreme arachniphobia.]

Prey
[spoiler]
Anything you can find in the fields and wetlands: Birds, mice,
rabbits, squirrels, even lizards and frogs!

Predators
[spoiler]
Foxes and badgers rarely pester us, but wandering kits do need
to look out for eagles and hawks, who compete for food with us
cats. Also beware of snakes. Most of them aren't poisonous, but
you never know. All sorts of spiders and insects also make their
homes in our territory, unfortunately. Usually if we leave them
alone, they leave us alone, but there are in fact black widows
and venomous bugs, so.. WATCH OUT!! Also beware of coyotes. The
sneaky creatures roam at night, stealing our prey and sometimes
even raiding our camp!

Climate

It's very warm here, hence the name SunClan. Precipitation
includes rain, fog, and rarely hail. Snow seldom falls in
SunClan's fileds due to the low altitude.

Borders
[spoiler]
We border WindClan in the north and are not far off from the
Tribe of Rushing Water. In the south is a large Twolegplace.
Surrounding large amounts of the border is a wooden fence, with
Twoleg orchards beyond.

We are allies with all pro-Clans and enemies with all
anti-Clans.

Landmarks

The River
[spoiler]
Cats who wish to access this place must first cross a series of
Thunderpaths and Twoleg nests. However, when you get there the
view is luxurious. Beautiful plants surround the river, and you
can hear the peaceful chirping of birds and frogs as you walk
along the bank. If the river is dry you can cross it without
getting your paws wet and explore the fields beyond.

Twolegplace
[spoiler]
This is a great place for medicine-warriors to collect herbs. A
bunch of old ladies have gardens with plenty of the things we
use to keep our cats healthy. This place, infested with Twolegs,
would usually be considered a con to other Clans, but SunClan is
used to putting up with these alien-like creatures, and we find
use in traveling through the place to gather certain plants.

Small Field

A triangle of land in a sea of Twoleg nests. It's about one
square mile, and isn't really of much use besides the fact that
a lot of prey lives there.

Stinky Place
[spoiler]
A gross-smelling Twoleg building bordering our territory. No one
knows why it stinks, but it does. Twolegs are idiots.

The Lake
[spoiler]
It's a man-made lake, and it's quite hard to fish from, but the
ducks swarming the area are very stupid, and it's easy to get a
good meal there.

anything. Life is way too short to go worshiping dead cats all
the time!

[spoiler]
Medicine-warriors are very intelligent cats who study both the
ways of a warrior and that of a medicine cat. They CAN in fact
have mates, and kits are permitted as long as there is at least
two medicine-warriors who are healthy and ready to care for
their Clan. The head medicine-warrior is the leader of the group
of up to four of these cats.
