       1930- Sometime during the late evening a fire started in a pile
       of lumber under the bleachers along the left field line at the
       ballpark on City Island.  Before being extinguished the fire
       destroyed thirteen tiers of seats about twenty-five feet wide.
       Damage was estimated at $500.
