       More than 1,500 models of assault-style firearms are affected,
       along with certain component parts of some newly prohibited
       firearms, (upper receivers of the M16, AR-10, AR-15 and M4
       pattern of firearms). This number includes firearms that are now
       prohibited by maximum thresholds for muzzle energy, (greater
       than 10,000 Joules), and bore diameter (20 mm bore or greater).
       Any firearm that exceeds these thresholds is now a prohibited
       firearm.
       Overall, the prohibition includes over 105,000 restricted
       firearms and could potentially impact over 100,000 owners. The
       number of non-restricted firearms is unknown.
