Operation Objective: Save three hostages from a group of
kidnappers.
Operation Outcome: Success
Operation Description: We were sent out to rescue three hostages
from a Platoon sized group of kidnappers hidden out at a oil
field. They had a ZU-23 to repel air attacks as well a mounted
rocket man and a static turret. After a 400m push after
repelling we reached the walls. At that point we had Eliminated
most ground forces and the ZU-23. We breach the compound having
already secured one hostage that had managed to get away and
come to us. We breached a barrack type building and downed two
hostiles protecting the hostage. Afterwards Sergeant DJ was
critically injured after being shot while climbing a ladder and
additional medical aid had to be called in the help revive him.
After dispatching the remaining enemies we recovered the last
hostage around 200m from the compound and brought the back to
the HQ at [DATA REDACTED].
