       Training You're Applying For: M1 Abrams crewman Training 19 Kilo
       Why Do You Feel Like You Should Have A Chance At This Training:
       I feel like I should have a chance at this training for two
       reasons. The first of which is that I love tanks. The second is
       that I am a much better leader at an armored unit than I am a
       infantry sergeant. This may be because I am a fan of massive
       armored battles, such as the battles of Kursk or the Bulge, or
       even most recently, the Battle of 73 Easting in the Gulf War of
       1991. Famous tank generals like Rommel or Patton amaze me, and I
       believe their tactics, especially Rommel’s, can be applied to
       what we do in the FRU during assaults, either using the tanks as
       a frontal assault force, a flanking Force (like Rommel), or a
       supporting force for the infantry. Tanks will ALWAYS be needed
       on the battlefield, and I believe that I can influence how they
       are used in battle. In real life, and in game.
       What Experience Do You Have When It Comes To This Area: I am an
       experienced tanker. I understand the ins and outs of an M1
       Abrams, tactics like a “Hull down” position, massive amount of
       military terms such as distance terms “Klicks” or a time term
       like “mike” or that “Charlie Mike” means “Continue Mission”. I
       also have a whole guide dedicated to tanking, a good well known
       term would be to fire the round already in the main gun, and
       then reload to a different round. For instance, if I had a HEAT
       (High Explosive Anti Tank) round in the chamber and I wanted to
       reload to SABOT/ APFSDS (Armor Piercing Fin Stabilized
       Discarding Sabot) I would State “Gunner Fire Fire SABOT.”. This
       states that the Gunner will fire the HEAT round in the chamber,
       and then load a SABOT round. The same situation is for the other
       way around. It is also my dedication to become a tanker in real
       life once I join the army. Tanking is a pivotal part of every
       army. It is the spearhead for massive assaults, provides support
       for infantry, and is the main counter to enemy tanks. Especially
       with the new Tanks DLC coming out soon, I believe that it would
       be a perfect suit to put me into this MOS.
