What if (scenarios, endings, etc)...

While I was talking with my sister about all the info that is
out so far about the audio drama and the novel x-2.5....and how
we would have like to see prequels instead, her of the trio
(Braska, Auron, & Jecht) and me of Lenne and Shuyin (and the war
between Bevelle and Zanarkand)...lol...
She mentioned that she would have also like to see something
like a side quest in X, that would allow you to play as previous
summoners (Braska, for example) or even on how the fayth became
a fayth (it would be interesting to see them in their human
forms, since we know how Bahamut looked like when he was still
alive).
We also think it would've been interesting if they had included
alternative endings, in which Yuna can pick one of her guardians
to make the final aeon. A lot of people probably wouldn't like
this...but I think it'd be interesting to see how a final aeon
would look like if it was made with Tidus, Kimahri, Rikku or any
of the other guardians.
What other things would you have liked to see in this HD
remaster?

I would've liked to see a story detailing the Braskian trio, as
detailed in my post in

As long as they paid generous attention to the details in their
trip as to compensate for lack of an engaging plot, the game
would work well in terms of holding interest. Gameplay, as I
stated, could be a roadblock, but something that could be
overcome with a bit of brainstorming.
I've recently started having thoughts about how fun it would be
to experience a story in the setting of Machina War-era Spira.
Running around while havoc and chaos is unfurling about you
sounds ripe for good, intense action and many interesting plot
developments.
Or, perhaps, to combine your idea with stories of how fayth are
made, we can dive into the life of a millennium-old unsent, and
his journeys through Spira. Somebody like Maechen, who has been
alive since before the Machina War, would've had such an
interesting life and been involved in so many engaging events.
There could be how he factored into the Machina War, shedding
light on the real Yu Yevon and nature of the conflict between
Bevelle and Zanarkand, and the postceding years would detail his
interactions with the newly formed Church of Yevon, including
how the pilgrimage fayth were made.
There are many interesting subdiversions to be had with a
thousand year life. I wonder how Maechen would feel about it.
Ah, but if I had to ask about what the HD remaster had to offer,
I would've liked new enemies and a new dungeon. Perhaps more
light shed on the Machina War would've been nice, too. A few
extra cutscenes and areas would've been better than a shoddy
bump in quality.

I think there have been quite a few characters already presented
that seem to be from 1000 years ago, or in other words from the
zanarkand-bevelle/machina war, like Yunalesca, Yu-Yevon, Lenne,
Shuyin, and now this unsent! So I think a prequel with any of
this characters or I guess even new ones about this time period
would be interesting. Although, it would still be good to know
more about the characters that we already know very little
about. Was Maechan alive before the war? Is he 1000+ years old?
I don't remember...Maybe he is an unsent ??? Oh yes he is
unsent (I just looked it up on wiki... :D)

Yes, I think it would've been great if they added new things
like optional dungeons and extra cutscenes, besides the audio
drama.

Maechen is my personal favourite character.
How do you justify a half-blind old man who travels just as fast
and efficiently as you?
Just the thoughts of Maechen kicking fiend ass with no effort
makes my mind swim with joy.

Although I don't know what kind of fighter Meachen would be,
since he is a scholar, I do wonder how a young Maechen would
look, if they made a prequel with a story of a 1000 years ago.
Maybe he was already old looking like that...but if Auron, an
unsent can age, I guess Maechen can too...lol
While I love the idea of seeing how the guardians would have
looked like as a Fayth or Aeons, I didn't even think of fan-arts
people might have done until I stumble on some interesting ones,
which look great in my opinion :D
