What was the hardest boss, in your opinion?

First-playthrough wise is usually the best measure of it,
but what's the most difficult boss to you?

On X it was the omega weapon, i really had to think hard about
how to beat it. On X-2 it was angra mainyu , that bastard took
me over 2 hours to defeat and several attempts to stop dying
after the first half an hour of the battle. >:(

I think, first play-through-wise, the most challenging is
Yunalesca.
I've never died on Yunalesca,
but it's always been close calls.
It's orchestrated in a way where you're always on your toes.
It's a very good boss battle.
The most annoying one first time through, though,
is probably Flux.
The Banish move is a meanie,
and although Full Life didn't often hit the right person, his
double sword attack could wreak havoc.
Especially if you're doing a non-haste run.
Haste is the name of the game.

My first post! Felicia is here! I'm from Indonesia~ First of
all, I'm sorry if my English isn't good ^^" (I'm still learning
English here, tho).
in my opinion the hardest boss in :
Final Fantasy X : Sanctuary Keeper (I had to re-challenge him
several times back then), Penance (In International Version).
Final Fantasy X-2 : I agree with Angra Maiyu is the hardest one,
I also took almost 2 hours to defeat this fiend. I also can say
that Chac is hard as well (Especially when she used Stone Gaze.)

Ahh, but I don't really count the Chocobo Eater as a real boss,
seeing as winning conventionally isn't the only way to advance
the story.
Although, for that time, he can be difficult to beat.
Unique circumstances.
Surprisingly enough, by the time you unlock Nemesis, he's not
that difficult to defeat.
Just like a more intimidating Greater Sphere; time-consuming.
And more auto-life, but regardless.
