Honestly
going to go with my gut on this and lynch Penguin
[he's gone offline for now]
But something just strikes VERY odd about how he just suddenly
shifted to Lena with next to no evidence whatsoever
Didn't even attempt to call out her post on anything or say why
he was lynching.

Oof yeah, Penguin did townlead when he was wolf with me back in
Tick tock 2.
I don't know, I feel like I need to trust someone in this game,
and my gut feelings haven't failed me in the past (suspecting 3
scum in AEI and the Leia warden last game) - but no one is ever
"off the hook" d1 as far as anyone is concerned imo.

Honestly not calling Lena a wolf or anything for now..but..a
possible justification for why Penguin did that sudden switch is
that he could be a wolf who is trying to scapegoat L_S, but then
tries to lynch a buddy wolf (Lena in this case) to throw
suspicion off.
It's really weird how he doesn't choose to lynch Cosmic (who
basically posted without contributing anything and arguably came
off as more suspicious than Lena) and says that it's because of
Meta and that we shouldn't suspect Cosmic....but then decides to
lynch Lena instead (who in all honesty, if we rely on last game,
she made herself seem pretty sus until she claimed JK as a Town
player too)

In the possibility LS gets lynched and isn't a wolf, he might
come up with a story that he actually tried to lynch Lena at the
end
in the possibility Lena is lynched and if she is a wolf, he'd be
"confirmed"

That's not out of the question at all, that's essentially the
wolf strategy I used, and Penguin's for sure smart enough to do
that.
I'll lynch Penguin for now but that's open to change.

I'd be in complete agreement with you if I didn't know that me
and Penguin hold opposing views on how to approach Day 1 (and by
extent the rest of a game), and as a result I can only assume
he's simply viewing my behaviour as a simple expression of that
clashing idealogy.
Obviously this seems like a defence for him but it's better to
consider all the knowledge available rather than for me to
withold it to suit an agenda.

Yeah lynch Penguin because when he's wolf he tries to lead the
town, and I don't really know his reasoning to lynch lena.

[/quote]I'd disagree here- LS always seems quick to claim (see:
claiming Psycho after he had like 2 votes on him on like day 2
of tick tock two, warden v quickly last game). I don't like the
timing of his backtrack though, I thought it was longer when I
first posted but 20 seconds feels strange. His explanation makes
sense ig so I won't lynch but it still feels scummy and I'd like
to come back to him later.
I don't get the Penguin022 lynch at ALL, if someone wants to try
and explain it more that'd be helpful. From what I can tell,
people are just attacking Penguin because he lynched Lena
without explanation, and because he's "leading town". Except no
one is following him, so he's clearly not leading. And it's day
1, I often lynch people literally just to see what happens and
see how people respond.
I'm gonna Lynch KKE.
- Her Zech case was weird, and vaguely reminded me of
Mercury/Rias situations. It felt very "I don't like how this
player plays, therefore scum".
- She's so jumpy. And it's weird, given her more laid back
behavior last game. There's been a lot of making points, and
then instead of arguing for those points, she's agreeing with
her disagreers. And then she's been throwing out so many
different scenarios, it's hard to keep track of. Could these be
literally all of her thoughts? Sure. Could it also just be a
solid strategy to make it seem like you're participating and
actively contributing to town when really you're just trying to
distract and confuse? Also yes.
It's not a strong lynch by any means, but I wanna see what
happens if I push on it a little bit.
