Potholes

Station Lane is on a programme of works to be resurfaced as is
Commonside Lane . A definate date has yet to be fixed but it
should not be much longer. As anyone who gets around the area
will have noticed roads are being done someplace everyday and
they cannot all be done at the same time. :)

Just found out the resurfacing of Station Lane is far from
complete due to the weather on the day they have to redo parts
of it. Plus there is another surface dressing to be put on and
all drain covers have to be raised.

Somebody needs to contact WMDC and tell them that fev does not
want any block paving as its a waste of money and far too posh
for fev. lets stick to good old tarmac its good enough for us .
See what I mean do the Town down and decry all that is done.
They are an Absolute disgrace to our TOWN. They do not deserve
to live here let em all go n live in that upmarket place "whats
it called " oh thats it CAS

I cant understand why people read the other forum and don’t
reply then repeat it on here :-\ Anyway if the roads were 100%
around Fev then nobody would have a problem with block paving
but there not they are a disgrace, work needs prioritising so
the worst get done first, it’s a bit like wanting to ice a cake
before its baked. As for a disgrace to the town lol ;D i did
chuckle :-*

Well, personally I think there is some explaining to do. The
resurfacing is an absolute mess, workers are filling drains up
with discarded tarmac and we get block paving outside the Corra?
I would have thought some more resurfacing in other bad areas
would be a priority over fancy block paving. Some people need to
take a drive around and see if they come back with 4 wheels
still on their car. The winter approaches and we havn't even put
a dent in what needed to be done. By the time the winter has
finished it will be even worse!
Sorry but you cannot just go around saying stuff like 'stop
looking on the dark side all the time' and 'lets be positive'.
The place is a God damn shit hole and thats putting it lightly.
450 new homes with all the traffic that comes with it to smash
the roads up even more? Behave, your having a fecking laugh
ain't ya?

The siting of the block paving doesn't make sense to me...why
just put it outside the corra ???

Its another case of bad planning, when the regeneration of
Girnhill starts the road will be full of heavy lorries, how will
the block paving stand upto this ? wouldn’t it be better to
repair the other roads first then do the block paving when
Girnhill is done ?
