Post your characters here if you are interested
You have just arrived in the beautiful and lush lands of Hakkan,
a place fraught with danger and opportunity, and embroiled in a
devastating civil war. You will first arrive in a port city
called Moncao on a ship called the Vetruria from which you will
strike out on your own path, either becoming involved in the
war, garnering trade deals, sowing deceit, doing mercenary work,
or even helping expel wayward spirits and hunt down
monsters.....
Notes:
Keep in mind that whilst traditional weapons are still very
common, firearms have mostly replaced them which gives access to
weapons such as muskets, revolvers, carbines, ect....(though you
may still want to carry a sabre for the close encounters).
Hakkan itself is predominately inspired by southeast Asia so
many of the creatures, spirits, and traditions you will
encounter bear a similarity to those of southeast Asia
mythology.
Magic, or "extranormal forces" as the academics call them, is
not a force at the beck and call of any individuals and is a
power outside of humanities control that can create strange or
even surreal looking landscapes or can cause other bizarre
occurrences....

Arlost.
Age: 21
Summary:
Arlast woke up in a field Hospital, hearing voices. She asked
for her name but noone could tell her. Since then she has been
wandering, still hearing those voices in her head, sometimes
crying them out herself.
After a while she came to live with the voices telling her
things, she keps giving them names even, although she tends to
forget them after a while anyways.
She wanters arround Temples and Taverns, looking for free drinks
and a change of clothes (she smells).
Weapons:
Claymore (does not carry one, but is very good at using it)
Arbalest (does not carry one, but can operate it well)
Profession:
Crazed Beggar
Other:
(if it's okay, she's possessed by some actual Magical beeing,
that enables her to self heal a bit.)
Although beeing a beggar, Arlost has a strict moral code and is
not a thief class but a warrior.
Allegiance:
Noone, whoever offers her anything is pretty much her best
friend from then on.

Name: Mordos Merossus
Age: 34
Summary: A wise priest from a distant Kingdom, Mordos comes to
spread the word of God to the people of Hakkan, and to set up
his own churches and monasteries, in due time of course. For
now, he comes as a leader of men and a bringer of peace and
prosperity to all those who cross his path. However, those who
show violence are to be put down by the wrath of the Lord - and
Merossus seeks to do justice as God commands.
Weapons: Revolver, longsword - inscribed with litanies and
verses from the bible, iron shield.
Profession: Priest/Cleric
Other: At home, Mordos has a pet cat called Jericho.

Summary: A retired veteran of the Royal grand dragoons from
Geldahan coming to Hakkan in order to help train Imperialist
troopers to fight the Jukais though he has gained permission
from the homeland to become an independent surveyor of Hakkan
and explore this mysterious land further to possibly find sites
and objects of interest to the crown...
Weapons: Officers sabre, cavalry revolver, breech loading
carbine
Profession: Retired veteran/surveyor
Other: still often wears his Red and white uniform as regular
dress
Allegiance:Imperial/Geldahani
