4. Arc: Empty Chapter 4: Bloody Mess
I opened my eyes.
I felt my heart beat insanely fast and I saw cyan coloured eyes
looking at me.
The world spun arround me as a sat up.
I tasted bile and looked arround.
Someone stole my idea of the organ streamers and confetti. The
room was covered in blood.
I looked myself down.
I was bloody on every inch of my body that I could see. Plucking
some brain from my hair, I looked at the cyan eyes.
"Did you do that?"
She shook her head. No.
She pointed at me.
Wow. What I injected there must have put me close to Eversor
Level of Drugs. Why did the Sisters keep that stuff in an
unsealed Cabinet.
Of course, cause they didn't think anyone would inject them.
They where highly addictive, if I remembered correctly.
The girl before me nodded, as if reading my thoughts.
I realized her mouth was still covered, only the metal covering
her eyes has been ripped appart.
From the Bloody handprint, it was me.
My muscles hurt, no, all of my body hurt but it went away
quickly as that girl looked at me.
I looked at her too now.
She was, what? Maybe Fourteen? Whatever I did to those
Guardsmen, I didn't regret any of it.
I licked my lips, tasking the coppery blood, trying to get the
stench of vomit out of my nose and mouth. My own Vomit,
probably, but I didn't know.
I contemplated what I should do.
Pretty sure, the Inquisitor would not let me remain like I was,
if he knew what I did, even if he saw my action as justified, I
was a Drug addict now.
I didn't yet feel the strain of the Drugs having worn out on my
body, but I was pretty sure that the feeling would set in in
just a few days, making me crave more of those.
"Mother?" I heard myself mumbling and my eyes opened in shock at
my own words.
My brain hadn't even realized it, but my mother had grey hair,
just like this girl, as I saw now.
She had cyan eyes, just like this girl.
And she should be arround that age.
She nodded and I couldn't help but laugh out.
"I'm 22. Pretty sure you're younger, huh?"
She nodded again.
I looked arround again.
As much as I wanted to have a heartwarming reunion with my
mother, I didn't know what to do now.
Eventually, someone would walk down this way and find the door
that didn't open.
Eventually someone would try to open that door and eventually
someone would find us here.
Damn. Slaanesh r*pe me with the tip of a battle barge, this was
bad news.
I said that out loud and my mother nooded again.
We needed a plan, a good plan but since I was bad with those, I
cut my leg open with a piece of metal that lay on the ground.
Probably some of that, which covered my mothers eyes.
She looked at me in shock and confusion.
"We spread some of our blood here, they will think we're dead
and search for a culprit instead."
She shook her head, her eyes in a expession of gratitude but to
me, it felt as if she wanted to facepalm.
I felt my wound close and was happy about it. That's a good
power, a usefull one and a good one.
"So what then?"
I knew she couldn't answer, but without a tool, I couldn't break
open the metal covering her mouth. I have no idea how I broke
the one covering her eyes, I should have all my fingers broken
but I thought of her powers and knew.
"Do you have any other tricks?"
nodding
"Anything that would help us now?"
shacking her head.
"Damn."
She pointed at my hair.
I ran my fingers trough it, stips of meat and some brain comming
out of it.
Why did I feel so hungry for this stuff? I felt like spilling
some more blood. Later though, now I had to bring my mother to
safety and get back. However I may do that.

4. Arc: Empty Chapter 5: A Plan
It was either brilliant or very very stupid.
In all honesty I had no place to judge, so far, my attempts have
been of similar planning.
Pretty much, no planning.
Really it can either work or not work. There was someone smart
in some far back time who killed a cat over something like this.
At least that's what I've been told by Ayleen.
Ayleen is full of sh!t sometimes. But that is a story for
another day.
Where was I? A yes, our plan.
Exactly, we went without one, bare, ****, uncensored, completly
plannless walking.
I plucked some more of the bloody meat strips and a piece of
liver that I found stuck in my underwear away and snipped it
arround the corridors of the ship as we walked trough it.
Not hiding, not trying to hide anything at all.
I would do how J did and play the mute. I suspected that she
actually was, by now, because even though that metal bind
arround her mouth was still in place, she should be able to make
grunts or noises. So far she's been silent.
Don't make me go into the details of how we planned this, it was
a bunch of nodding and shaking her head.
So for now we went with J's plan; or at least my interpretation
of it.
And we did nothing.
Not absolutly nothing, at least we left the scene of the
slaughter.
Still having some of those drugs pump their energy trough my
systems, I was able to get the doorway free again and we left
the corridor with it's bloody graffity, gut streamers and
overall 'red' decour behind us.
We, or at least I, didn't clean myself properly either, J was
mostly clean safe for some splatters of blood here and there. I
looked more like I took a bath in the ball pit of that was a
Guardsmans insides. It smelled much better, than you'd think.
Miraculously, we didn't pass anybody before overhearing talk
between two female voices. Sisters or female Servs or whatever.
J motioned for me to stop, but we didn't take a crouching
position, we just stood in the hallway, hearing the conversation
from arround the corner.
"We will reach the Agri world soon, I have to go."
"The Inquisitor does not seem too approving of this situation."
"He won't be."
"Then please don't go, he will order you killed."
The conversation turned into a whisper from then on, but I was
only interested in that first statement anyways.
We will reach the Agri world soon. Maybe we could leave this
ship and hide there.
Sure we would probably be stuck there for a long time and I'll
never get to see Jaqui again but that didn't worry me too much.
A safe, long life on some Agri World, together with my mother
sounded pretty good.
Not long, damn. I am probably to heavily intoxicated and
addicted now, both will make me perish somewhen unless treated.
Or unless I get more of those drugs. I thought to myself, and
added a mental note, to steal some from the med bay, if I'd get
the chance.
Lost in thought, I didn't notice J had already gone a few more
steps forward and was waiting for me to follow her.
She couldn't know the ship any better than I did, I stroled
arround a few times but never saw her, figuring that she was
constantly accompanied by the Guardsmen or not allowed to do as
she pleased at all.
Nontheless, after steping trough a few doors, walking straight
ahead most of the time, we found ourselfs on a metal catwalk,
beneath us, there where drop pods.
This Catwalk was not in use at all, I was surprised at how empty
this ship felt, compared to any other ship I have ever been on.
We kept walking. There was not going to be a assault, they will
use a shuttle to get down to the planet. I figured that was what
was on J's mind as well.
After a eternity of walking straight ahead we started to head a
voice, a voice that I knew well.
"Where are they?"
What where the odds, the inquisitor was actually searching for
us.
"We have not been instructed to guard them, the last they have
been seen, your Remembrancer..."
I hnoticed how the Sister, that answered almost chuckled.
"... has last been seen stroling arround aimlessly. Perhaps she
got lost."
"What about the psyker?"
"Has not been seen at all, since she first went to the room she
shared with those four Cadians."
He didn't ask about the four men. Did he know already? It was
unlikely that they still havn't been found but it's very high
likely that these two would not yet know of it.
"The shuttle is ready." I heard a third, much younger voice, I
heard it before just a few moments ago. One of those that we
overheard in the corridors before. She must have been fast.
We couldn't make out the conversation anymore, they where
walking and so where we, picking up pace I ran after J, which
seemed to struggle from a broken limb. I wondered why she didn't
heal herself but kept it to me, focusing on not loosing the only
chance to get down there, into the shuttle and then down on to
the planet.
