"And so it came to be, that the relay was killed.
Although many escaped the fires of judgement, multitudes more
were left destitute or dead. At one point, the relay had a
handful of worlds under its grip, hundreds of troops and more
money than could be effectively used. Stripped of their
possessions, the main suppliers to the relay were left with
nothing but their own possessions and a few scant pieces of
their once vast wealth and resources they'd scrounged together
before they were seized. The relay was left destitute, and
isolated, all the while being hounded by the imperium.
Eventually the metalus gravus and all those who'd fled on it,
including some of the members of the krieg 136th and cadian
312th, and some members of the relay, made it past the ghoul
stars, out of reach of the imperium.
But here is not a nice edge of space. Not at all, in fact, the
astronomicans light barely pierces through, and the place is
filled with necrons... what is to be done? I do not know, but we
cannot remain here in squalor. We need money, and we need land.
Now is not the time of peace, because there cannot be peace."

"Well," A cloaked man in power armor spoke up, little was known
of him, other than he was an unsanctioned Psyker. "We must find
an inhabitable world, preferably a pre-industrial one. Where we
can use shock and awe to gain control of the populous and build
the needed infrastructure. I'm sure I could obtain extra
resources from some contacts of mine..." He trailed off without
explaining who his contacts were.

Meros emerges, with a Salamander techmarine at his side and a
pair of guardsmen. The crab footed man with the samurai sword
follows close behind. "We could always join the Red Corsairs,
I've heard Huron Blackheart is a pretty cool guy."

"Have not been listening Apothecary? He said beyond the Ghoul
Stars, that means we are most likely somewhere on the Centarus
Arm, if my galactic geography is correct." He turns to Falco
questioningly.
