When the Lamenter grabs his hammer, Senera continues with the
momentum of the charge and runs a full circle with the hammer as
the center and the full length of his arm as the radius, and
arrives at the Lamenter's back and stops by bashing the
Lamenter's back with his shield. Thereby avoiding Meros's drop
kick.
Senera frowns at the Lamenter, "Explain your actions Lamenter"

calm down a bit.

Eggnog.

So'rem grabs her eviscerator from beneath the bar and passes it
to her. His flamer and plasma cutter absent mindedly follow
Senera, just in case. Meros gets very close to the Black Templar
and glares at him. "If there weren't any heretics then you'd be
out of a job."

Senera immediately loses the cool the that the Lamenter gave him
and, glares back at the **** Blood Angel bastard who has the
bloody audacity to make light of what the Astartes do. He
immediately grabs what constitutes for a collar in the armor of
the so called Apothecary.
"Now listen here, and listen well, you bloody traitor. What we
do is not a job. It's a way of life. It's a moral obligation to
every man, woman, child, and everyone in the entire imperium. We
are the sword which cuts down its enemies, the shield which
guards its citizens. Having no heretics is never! a bad thing.
It means that there aren't going to be lunatics running around
murdering the people of the imperium. It means that the people
of the imperium aren't in constant threat of losing their
goddamn minds. It means that the people of the imperium can
sleep a bit easier, and do you know how much of a blessing that
is! I would be glad to be rid of every heretic, deamon, and dark
god in existence! With Orks, Necrons, and Tyrannids breathing
down the neck of the imperium, that would be an intense relief.
We give our lives to try to make that happen! Not just us, the
Astra Millitarum, the Adeptus Mechanicus, the imperial navy,
even the bloody Inquisition pays in blood to make that come
true! Even the Emperor and the Primarchs paid the price for
it!!!
Never make light of what we do bastard. 'Out of a job' you
bastard! You make me sick."
Senera pushes the Astartes away and returns to his seat.
"You are a disgrace to your primarch, the Angel Sanguinius, who
gave his own life to stop the vile efforts of chaos. And yet
here you are, 'Out of a **** job' you say. That's all it is to
you. Burn in hell."

"If it weren't for me, Sanguinius would be a pawn of Chaos. I'd
rather it be me than him, don't you agree?" Meros takes his
glass of red wine of the bar and swills it gently. "Besides, I'm
not exactly launching any Black Crusades. Running a bar is
probably more honest work than the average hiver." He drinks a
bit. "As far as I'm concerned we're doomed to the same fate as
the Thunder Warriors who came before us." He goes back to the
other side of the bar, retrieves a hot chocolate and puts it
down next to Senera. "But nothing is certain, I suppose.
People's opinions will never be unified and never have been
though all of human history." Meros chuckles and drinks down the
last of his wine, placing the empty glass on the bar.

Muffin looks at the Eviscerator for a long passing moment, takes
it and leans it agains the Bar, leaving it there.
"Look Senera, I get that you hate Chaos, but it doesn't
necessarily mean you hate me, sure I'm not really on the side of
the Inquisition and... well yea I murdered one or the other
loyalist."
Realising that that clearly won't be helping Muffin pours a
glass of Eggnog for Senera, looks at it and then pours a glass
of alcohol-free punch and pushes both over to the Black armoured
Astarte.
"Where should I start..."
Muffin ponders for a few moments.
"Is it enough if I tell you, that I helped out the Imperium
almost as often as I brought ruin to it? Does it help if I tell
you, that I never chose to worship Slaanesh?"

Senera takes the glass of Eggnog and empties it into Meros's
empty wine glass. Then he takes the mug of hot chocolate and
pours half of it into the empty Eggnog glass, along with half of
the alcohol-free punch. The then shakes the punch-hot chocolate
drink vigorously and pours the remaining punch into the
half-filled mug of hot-chocolate.
He then proceeds to drink the punch-hot chocolate drink, and
turns to Muffin.
"Ok.. that helps. Continue"
