True, Chimeras and Leman Russ tanks are in the Codex, but they
don't have any different models...
But there's always wave 3...
At least, there's sometimes a wave 3 when a new Codex comes out.
If one of these nids is called Bane, then can we have a
Deathwatch Captain called Batman? And a Sororitas called
Catwoman? And Commissar Gordon? ... hehehe...

Honestly I think they should do more to differentiate them from
the standard imperial guard, other than that however I do like
their look...

Ok, only 2 units doesn't seem all that special, but looking at
the way these Space Marine box sets are ever increasing in size
I can imagine more are to follow for the Genestealers.

Nid-like corruption.
You know, similar stuff that Chaos gets (Slaanesh tanks with
tentacles 'n shit)
Was hoping this 'd have something like that...
But I guess that wouldn't really fit the Genestealers, would it?

The thing with non-chaos corruption is that you can't really
infect a vehicle. Genestealers are very much into biological
infections. And, from a lore perspective, if the tanks were
covered in tentacles and things they would be able to infiltrate
the Imperial Guard. The Tyranid icons are probably put on at the
last minute, moments before the ambush, so they can still
successfully hide amongst Imperial Guard armoured divisions and
destroy them from within.
